I can never stop eating! The food, oh the food was soooo good! Burgers the best! Ribs amazing! I frequent this place all the time! I wish I could rate it 10/5 stars it’s sooo good!
Our table ordered chicken taco, crab cakes, beef burger, boar sausage dish, apricot malva and coconut tartelette. Everything tasted amazing can't wait to try other things on the menu! �
I’d never been here before, the entrance is in through the hotel entrance and the first right, the service was great, super friendly and quick but not overbearing. Also our food was ridiculously fast. (Like wildly fast). We ordered I went to the washroom and got back and it was on the table. We ordered the burger week burger and it was SOOO good 🙌, it does not come with a side but we got Parmesan truffle fries which were also super good ! The atmosphere is also very modern and fun, I’d definitely recommend this spot !
Have to say one of the best food experience I have has in a long time. My wife had muscles to start in a cream sauce and was really fresh and the taste was great. I had the steak tartar served with an egg yoke and toasted bread and was amazing. For the main meal we both had the short rib with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. The short rib was so tender and the was out of this world and the mashed potatoes were so good creamy and had garlic in them. I would recommend Primal Kitchen to everyone. And service was great as well.
The food was delicious ,!!! One of the best oyster deals in the city!!! 24$ for dozen!!!
Staff are friendly and they got great prices on some and beers on tap.

My wife and I went to Primal Kitchen last week. We loved it. She had the Hog Ribs and I had the Duck Confit. Both dishes were delicious!
Our server, Tara, was excellent. We even got a chance to try Malva, a South African traditional pudding. I highly recommend this place. Go check it out!
I went with my boyfriend and we both got the full rack of ribs and we shared a plate of calamari. Everything was amazing! Ribs were perfectly cooked and the dip for the fries was so good. Definitely would recommend!!

We enjoyed a culinary experience at Primal. Their burger during burger bash is dense and juicy but had a good balance of flavour with the toppings.
The beef short rib was served with a huge bone, it felt like we were eating a dish for sophisticated cave-people! Honestly it was too much meat on the rib, but we got what we asked for from a meat-forward restaurant.
The beef tar tar was mediocre. It was lean and lacking flavour.
Primal didn't "wow" me but it was good. Basic things lacked, such as my steak knife not being sharp (I had a terrible time cutting my steak, yet it wasn't tough). And my husband had to ask for salt; the waitress brought a salt grinder but it was empty. Hard to track her down but when we did and she finally returned, she said the restaurant was out of salt. She gave us a small dish of coarse salt to use. I wished they had a bigger assortment of meat on the menu with some interesting choices - the name kind of implies that, along with the website that says they are unique. Chicken, ribs, steak, lamb, and duck are pretty unexceptional to me, although the preparation and flavours were great, hence the loss of only 1 star. Bring a sweater in case you get seated by the window. I froze the whole time, which didn't help my dining experience. Would I go again? Sure. Will I rave about it to friends? No.
