A lovely cafe with great ambiance, fair trade coffees, lots of great snacks tucked away in downtown Halifax, about a 10 minute walk from pier 21. Friendly staff too.

Moca is the one of the best drinks of what I have drunken. You can use free parking are of NS Power every Weekend near by.

We enjoyed a delicious creamy hot chocolate with tasty breakfast bagels. Their espresso based coffees are excellent too. One of the best cafes in Halifax downtown and very reasonable prices. Service is excellent and friendly. Nice chat with the staff.

Had a latte here while on a cruise port visit. The barista was inclusive, helpful and into the coffee. They even have a Local Places To Go form.

Nice spot on the corner my wife and I found in passing. Careful, as looking from the outside across the street it may look closed however as you approach it’s open! Both Cappuccino and hot chocolate were very good with a side muffin for each of us. Service was 5 star as they were delightful to interact with and polite as we closed our transaction.

My wife and I were waiting for a nearby place to open so we stumbled into here for a coffee. It's a very cozy place. The server at the desk was super friendly, and educated us both in different types of teas since we weren't too familiar. She had her very first latte and I had a London Fog. It was an unexpected stop but a very pleasant one. We will try to stop by again the next time we're down around Halifax.

Really nice iced coffees. They have great flavours, I got a chocolate one and it picked me up and was very tasty. Nice indoor ambiance too. They had a little sign board with Halifax recommendations too which I appreciated!

Great coffee shop! The monk macchiato and the Milky Way are excellent both hot and cold. Wayyyyy better than the big-chain siren-themed brand from Seattle. Wish I lived here to grab coffee from the Wired Monk every day.

Whenever I'm in downtown Halifax I try to drop by the Wired Monk. I like the atmosphere, the coffee and the food on offer. I recently [August 2022] had a delicious cappuccino and blueberry cake. I would definitely give a five-star rating if the staff were a little friendlier. Greeting your customers with a friendly hello is always appreciated!

Great place, loved the matcha and the almond croissant. Also tried the London fog which was delicious. The owner is extremely kind and funny and will make you feel at ease the minute you step in the cafe.
