A quaint, smartly-dressed venue with a rooftop patio I can't wait to experience very soon. The food was incredible. The noodles were melt-in-my-mouth delectable. We were able to cork our unfinished wine which is always a bonus. We were even given a lovely wine bag to leave with so we didn't have to walk out with a plain bottle of wine in our hands. Price point is spot on for the quality of the food and service. Both our welcome and our service throughout the meal were top notch. Can't wait to go back!!
A massive thank you to our neighbor Bruno and his staff, he along with his wife Maria (who is back home in Italy right now) are the proprietors of La Cucina Ristorante here in Guelph. Val and I had an amazing meal on our date night. I had one of the very best meals I've EVER had in a restaurant. The filet was out of this world and is one of the top two steaks I've ever eaten in a restaurant,
I also had a half sized portion of their pasta with fettuccine noodles in a whiskey rosé sauce served with shrimp and lobster that was so fantastic that words on a page don't even do it justice. So If you live in Guelph and haven't eaten here I highly recommend it. Val had some amazing scallops for an appetizer and then the rabbit for her main, followed by a specially made dessert tray. Then we finished the evening off by having a Port with our gracious host after all the satisfied patrons had left. Thanks again Bruno!
Always delicious. Great service, excellent wines and ambience, and Thursday nights are our favourites - appetizer and main for a great price. Dessert was phenomenal. Honestly, wouldn't change a thing. Most delicious fine dining in Guelph by far. Will be back, and back, and back again.
Amazing waitress; food was delicious. The house red was delightful. It was my sisters birthday and we lucked out on the half price bottle Tuesday deal. Would recommend to anyone who likes classy Italian dining!
Can I leave seven stars? My partner and I booked La Cucina for our wedding. We could not have made a better choice. Bruno, Maria and Errico, and the whole staff were simply amazing. First off, they always treated us like people they care about. When the weather turned against our outdoor ceremony plans at the University of Guelph, it was no problem to move the ceremony to La Cucina's covered patio. And our day turned out better for it too. The food was out of this world delicious, and all of our guests told us that they were delighted, and had a great time. We had a great time. Not only do we look forward to going back for the food, but we look forward to going back for the people. There are not too many places I can say that about. I encourage everyone who appreciates Italian cuisine to pay them a visit. You won't regret it.

Excellent service and the food was AMAZING. At our table of four we had the steak, lobster pasta and the lamb and all were highly praised. Dessert was lovely and the wine suggestions were perfect. Charming venue, will be back!
Had an incredible time tonight, first time eating at La Cucina. All of the food and drinks were outstanding and the service was top notch. Chris took amazing care of us and we will most certainly be returning many times.

This place is awesome! Food and service were so good and the atmosphere was fabulous. Operates according to the Covid guide lines. Highly recommended this restaurant with five stars and will come back again.
One of my favourite restaurants in Guelph. The food is amazing (best pasta I have ever had). Atmosphere is excellent, along with the service. Would recommend to anyone looking to try something new in the city.
