We didn't get the food but everyone seemed very content with their meals/apps, the service was impeccable I would give the service 10 stars if I could, and the atmosphere was the best part of it all, everyone was so sweet, bilingual, and so professional. The ticket fee was only 20 a person for NYE which is so affordable AND worth it (they provided live music, crowns and champagne). If I could recommend this place to everyone on Earth, I would. 10/5.
Hi, we had the most fabulous wedding reception at Le Forum!! It was simply unforgettable all around from the venue to the food to the service! There are no words to describe the treatment that we received. Not only was the food and service exceptional on our wedding night, but it is beyond delicious every time we go for supper, which we do now because of The excellent food. The views are obviously spectacular too!!!! I was so happy too that the second level is so beautifully decorated with booths, fantastic chairs and decor that we hardly had to decorate. I’m sharing photos! We highly recommend it! You will be happy!
First time dining and we were not disappointed. Three of us enjoyed our meals, service was great and our food came out fairly quickly. The desserts were delicious as well. Our server was named Nick (according to the bill) and he was very helpful.
We came here for the great location and because we have driven by many times and never come here before. The reviews aren't great but we were very happy with our experience. Right across the street from the water and boardwalk. Beautiful view from the table beside the railing. We came for a weekday lunch. Was very quiet. Including us only 4 tables on the patio had people. They have a discounted daily entree special but we went for something else. We had the filet dore/pickerel with veggies and rice as well as the spaghetti bolognese. The fish was very good as were the sides. The spaghetti had lots of meat sauce. Not the most amazing spaghetti bolognese but good and great value for everything with the fish being $17 and spaghetti being $15.
The service was excellent. Our server was Marie-Pier. Very attentive. Washrooms are in the basement and were very clean.
Our waiter, Lucas, was incredible… great service and lots of humor! Added so much to an absolutely fabulous meal! Never expected such good Italian food in Canada… Don’t miss this place with a grand view of the river.
Have come 2 times now and the food is superb, servers are friendly and prompt. Would highly recommend for a great meal and wonderful view of the Ottawa River.
Great ambience. New owners go the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable outing. The meat lovers pizza is very tasty, not doughy, and I always order on each visit. 5 Coronas in an ice bucket is a great deal. The fish n chips wasn't all batter. One can actually taste the fish, and it was a hearty morsel. We were inconvenienced a bit with a large crowd of youngsters there for shots before their cruise on the river, we saw the ship filling up on the way out, but the manager/owner made it right by us with complimentary cognacs, and a move to a quieter spot. Definitely a must visit dining out, with great patio views of sunsets. Building gives off a New Orleans type look from the outside, especially when lit up at night. Hopefully such a theme will be introduced.
What an AMAZING experience! New owner Peter is a very well know Chef which is what brought our family to reserve Le Forum for our dinner. I've been back 7 times since! The food is just WOW! The Ceasar salad, calamari and Caprese salad were so fresh and great flavor. 👍 The veal chop dinner was so delicious 😋. The meat was tender the food was hot, and most importantly the service was so great compared to 3 years ago! The view is just so breathtaking. It would be a real shame to visit Canada's Capital without visiting Le Forum Restaurant. Please don't just take my word ..try it yourself.
Came about 8 months ago, it was absolutely terrible. Went again yesterday to see if management or chef has changed and indeed, now its pretty good . The patio and view is amazing. As for the current chef I would still reccomend the following:
-non spicy colesaw because it kind of tastes weird and is too spicy. At least give the option.
-perhaps saltier food to avoid a plain taste
This place deserves an overall 4.5 stars not less.

I honestly had the most amazing experience ever last night the food and service was above and beyond my expectations. They have a lovely patio terrace overlooking the Gatineau River and the waitress was so kind to let us know they're having a Mother's Day brunch this Sunday 😀 we will defitnely be joining for that. Seems like this place has alot of good things going on and can't wait to come back on Sunday.
