Best poutine in Gatineau and the whole are by far ! If your a sauce person this place has some of the best sauces around. The house brown is always great but the chipotle and white are so yummy as well! Meat and other add-ins are always on point. Highly recommend!!!!
My tastebuds melted with the esquisite yet delicate detail placed upon my greasy slathered poutine perfection. The cheese curds cleaned the plaque from my gum line leaving a shiny noisy finish on my teeth as I frothed gravy from the corners of my mouth. D-lish
Supposedly one of the best poutine shops in Gatineau. We wanted some authentic Quebec poutine and so we went here. Was good, don't get wrong, but it didn't change my life. A lot more cheese than we're used to, but that is not a bad thing. Sauce was a little bland, I expected a bit more spice or flavour. Great fries as a base. Nice folks working in a tiny place, room wait and not much space for eating in. Took it back to our hotel room, added a touch of ketchup, scarfed it down and wished we'd got a larger size. Older soon was sad, he got a burger and it was a bit too small, left him hungry. Pretty sure this one is connected to Bob Patat, exact same menu, even a Bob Burger!
Walked an hour to get here from downtown ottawa because I wanted some good poutine. This place does not disappoint. Massive servings, great cheese, gravy, and fries. Staff really nice, I tried my best to speak French and they accommodated me with English. Would come again, and again, and again...
This was our second stop on a poutine crawl and it was significant better and better value than the other poutine down the road. The potatoes tasted super fresh and the gravy wasn’t too sweet either. Highly recommend

Amazing no-fuss poutine. If you like your gravy not too salty, this is perfect. Nice and squeaky St. Albert cheese curds. And fries taste like they’re straight out of a chip truck.
The portions are small, but prices are fair. My new go-to poutine north of the river!
The parking, I'm not sure if it was for the apartments or for the restaurant but I parked there anyways because there was no signage. Went inside and ordered a hot dog with everything on it (onions, relish and mustard) and then a Petite Classic Poutine. I wanted to put Bacon on it but there was a bit of a langauge barrier, I think if I wanted the bacon then I would have needed to get a Medium but I didn't want that. So I just went with the Petite Classic. The hot dog was super super good tho and I liked the cheese on the poutine, it was super good.
Best poutine! We stop here often and they are amazing fries, and the portions are huge. We order a family poutine and we always end up bringing some home. Conveniently located and lots of parking make an easy stop with the kids. An absolute must stop for any poutine fans .....thanks again
Cute little pataterie! Tried the poutine and pogo which were both delicious. Everything was served nice and hot. The indoor eating area is not very big but in the summertime you can eat on the patio which has more space. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to get your poutine fix and are in the area.
I discovered this place back in 2014 when I was here as a student. I used to not like poutine but a coworker convinced me to give this a try (he is Québécois so I trusted him) and I haven’t regretted it. LIFE-CHANGING poutine.
I have told almost everyone in my life about this place, introduced my family to it and they all love it. Every time I’m in the Ottawa area, I make sure to drop by here. I haven’t been able to find a place comparable since.
During my trip to Ottawa/Gatineau back in October, I had La Pataterie Hulloise on my list for the longest time!
And I am glad I waited for it!
Known for their classic poutine and their Italian poutine, the staff always ensures the humble but well executed flavours for every order!
The fresh cheese curds work well with the piping hot homemade gravy on top of the fresh cut fried that are fried to order!
The Italian Poutine is a nice change from the classic with the hearty meat marinara sauce being a nice surprise to pair well with the cheese curds.
Overall, it is worth the visit if you are ever in the Ottawa Gatineau region!
