On our first day in Fredericton, my wife and I were invited for a brunch at the Diplomat and we couldn't have asked for a better welcoming present! The breakfast is simply delicious! All staff members were great at their jobs, treated us wonderfully and the prices were fair. It's not a mystery why this is a classic and traditional place in Fredericton. We recommend it to everyone!!!

Awesome supper. The number of awards on the wall are quite understandable after eating there. Fantastic buffet. Service by Christina was top notch! Thank you! Cannot recommend it enough.

This restaurant has the BEST charbroiled steaks in the city...by far. Oh there are other places that serve steaks, even some that specialize in it, but none come close. The other item which is surprising for a Chinese restaurant is the Fish n Chips.. its HUGE and delicious. As far as their Chinese food, it is a few dollars more then most places but the portions are also plentiful and well worth it. The servers are also the most experienced in the city and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The best thing I like about diplomat was it's buffet and in the buffet my favorite part is dessert. Best and huge varieties. The part which I don't like us the menu for buffet is always comman. I wish there was more chicken dishes and felt the price was lil expensive

The Diplomat is a terrific place to eat but since it is so popular, reservations are suggested. Very friendly servers, it has the choice of spacious booths or tables. Buffets are offered at certain times and are a feast for the eyes as well as the body. A variety of delicious foods are available but the Chinese food is my favorite. Portions are large and this tastes like authentic Chinese cuisine. Thinking about the desserts, it is hard to choose but the variety of cheesecakes and other tasty treats greet you in a display case as you enter. The Diplomat is my first choice for a meal in Fredericton .
