Hidden treasure. Would not know it looking on the outside but it is a fantastic restaurant. Food is probably the best in Fort McMurray as well as even some bigger cities. Bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.
Amazing restaurant. Was very surprised that this place existed in Fort McMurray let along could cook duck the way they did. Definitely reccomend going down and checking it out.
Amazing little gem!. I'd been to this location a number of times over the years when it was a dark, dingy pub of multiple variations, in the basement of the Nomad hotel. What they've done to the place now is awesome - it's warm, inviting, modern, CLEAN, and cozy.
I had the salmon dish, described on their menu as: Pan seared salmon, with carrot purre, crab brandade, mediterranean vegetables, confit tomato and seafood veloute. Call it whatever fancy name you want, although it was a tad salty in some spots, it was the best salmon dish (inclusive of everything on the plate) that I've ever had. Everything just went so well together. The mediteranean vegetables, the puree, the sauce... mmmm... I could have licked the plate clean had I not been in the company of business folks! I wish I took a photo, but it still wouldn't have done it justice!
I'd love to go to this place on a night when they have live music... but alas, I live in Calgary now. Good job!

Completely unexpected. I wasn't sure when I walked in the building and down the stairs to what seemed like it was going to be a blues club or something. But the interior feels very modem and comfortable. The wine selection is pretty limited but the food is really very good. Definitely not the typical Fort Mac meal. I'll be back every time I'm up here, for sure. (This place leaves the Keg in the dust).
This was my first experience at Live after reading about it in YMM Magazine, and I have to say that everything was very well executed from appetizers to dessert. The server was up-beat and friendly as well as very informative. Will 100% at Live again and recommend anyone who enjoys a fine dinning cuisine.
Unbelievably good food at reasonable prices. The chicken sate is my favorite dish on the menu. The service was great and the ambiance was decent.

The food and service was amazing! I had the Thai red chicken curry and it was as good as what our sever described it would be! Very casual, a little noisy and dark but all in all it was a great experience! I Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Tucked in the basement of the Nomad inn this has been my secret spot for dinner and a drink away from the crowds at Earls (fuel) whenever I have to spend a few nights in Mcmurray. This place offers an interesting menu with options for almost everyone (vegans and veggys may struggle a little). I would definitely rank the food quality a few notches up on Earls. Here for the week and plan to be here every night as usual.
Outstanding food. This restaurant recently upped their game substantially with a brand new menu that will appeal to casual dinners and gourmands. From Duck Confit to a bouillabaisse that would make a French chef salivate, this is one heck of a place to eat!
What is a bit odd is having such a fine-dining menu in a bar that also does karaoke and live music, but into Fort McMurray, this works. I have never had a bad meal here since the menu change and this is certainly one of the regions up and coming restaurants. Put simply, Go.. Eat.. Enjoy
I can't wait to go again! last night I had the salmon. It melted in my mouth. I thought I was eating food from a 5 star restaurant in Vegas. WOW! Service is so good too. Second time I've been. The first time great food and service too. I appreciated they were so good to my 15 yr old step daughter.
The live music is really nice too. I can still eat my dinner and have a conversation too. You must come here for dinner! You will be very happy!

Unique cocktail and menu options make this place stand out. Food is delicious. Except for the fish and chips...not so good. Has decent live music and a laid back vibe. Most important, it is a fun place.

The food was good. The Servers were very nice and made us feel comfortable. They were accommodating. It was a happy occasion.
Duelling pianos was an amazingly entertaining evening! Disappointed there are NO vegan meal options for the pricepoint. However, indulged in dairy free salmon and was elated. Thank you for an incredible night!
So far I rate Live as the best place to eat in Fort McMurray. The food is extremely good and I consider myself a foodie. Live easily competes with restaurants like Murcatto's in Calgary or Gotham in Vancouver. The service is excellent as well. The drink menu is winderful as well with some very refreshing martini's. This is my favorite place to eat in Fort McMurray.
If I had one gripe about the place it would be the decor. You can tell it was just slapped together hastily without too much thought of finished work and I don't find the furniture that great. They have these high chairs that once you sit in the they just stick to the floor making it hard to adjust unless you do this little hop dance with them. I think with some investment and a decent interior decorator this place would be a shining star in any North American city.
I booked this venue for a private event, and was amazing at how incredibly great the entire staff was to deal with. They were all a pleasure to deal with before, during and after the event, and I will definitely book with them again if the opportunity arises.
little hidden gem in the DT core, some of the best live music ,like dueling pianos, and acoustic sets come through here. They also have great food
Absolutely outstanding customer service. Delicious food. The steak bites are incredible. Highly recommend.
Place is amazing. Really really like the food. If you have a chance try the duck. You won't be disappointed.
