Love Fatburger. So many different options and you can sub any kind of patty. The milkshakes and fries are really great too and it's got an old diner kind of vibe. Overall a good find.

I was craving a serious burger and have been meaning to try Fatburger for quite some time - I decided today was the day. I stopped in just before lunch to hopefully beat the rush and I'm glad I did as my burger took nearly 20min to prepare. I went with the Double Fat Cheese ($11.99) which consisted of two 1/3lb patties, and all the fixings (minus mustard). The burger felt big but I would hope so based on the price. The patties were good quality and felt like a substantial amount of beef. I did end adding some seasoning salt to the meat as I find most places underseason beef patties. Other than that I found the burger itself to be pretty tasty. I did leave out the mustard as I personally don't like tart or tangy tastes and although the mustard was left out, the pickles are quite strong in flavor and almost made it taste as though I ordered extra mustard. Overall a decent burger and in my mind on par or a bit better than five guys type burger. The price however is one that will keep me from coming here regularly.

Venue: Clean, modern diner look. Lots of seating available.
Staff: Friendly and efficient. We arrived during the downtown lunch rush. It was very busy - but we made our way through the line and placed our order in a blink. The staff bring your food to your table. - and it was out pretty quick. Lots of staff circling tables to clear away waste etc. We were greeted twice during our meal by staff to confirm how the food was tasting and if we need anything. Very nice touch for an express diner.
Food: fresh ingredients - burger patties were grilled to perfection. Good variety of toppings and sides. What can I say - we consumers like options! ;P *Also my friend wanted me to note the whip cream on her milk shake was real whip cream!
Some might feel its on the pricer side for a burger joint but after our experience, you are getting what you're paying for here. Pleasantly surprised first time customers! ;)
The only reason I am not giving this place a 5/5 is for 2 reasons (and I really struggled with this decision, because we did really enjoy ourselves BUT)..
a, I am hesitant to give 5/5 to corporate franchises in general. Call me a a bias local enthusiast - GUILTY AS CHARGED!
And
b, Glorified fast food dinners are trending right now and #Yeg is SWIMMING in so many burger joints with a similar concept.
Great!. Really good burgers! Milkshakes are to die for! Only problem with this place is the price, but that should not by any means make someone stay away.
I ordered the triple king burger so big it's not on te menu but if you eat it all you get a free T shirt the burger was delicious I added bacon aswell if your looking for a filling burger get it two thumbs up
Yummy!. I like this place. Nice atmosphere but always quite crowded (I guess it is in a mall, though so it would be). Diner feel to it. Burgers are good if not a bit overpriced. I prefer Red Robin but I would recommend this place. The burgers are always fresh tasting and warm and they are easy to customize.
Tasty burgers. Small servings of fries. 4 bucks isn't worth the combo upgrade :( other than that it was yummy
Things have really improved since 5 years ago. I initially gave this place a very poor rating but now that I came back for a Groupon I realized the burger was actually not bad. The fries are excellent and the fountain pop did the trick. The burger patty was thin as always but if you don't cheap out you can always add a second patty or something. The ingredients are fresh and the service is fast and friendly. A really cool burger joint for downtown. I'm just not sure if I'll come here without a Groupon though. It still feels like highway robbery for a fast food burger. And I still like Burger Joint the best ;)
Good but over-priced. Its like an old school diner feel when you first walk in. You order your food, find a place to sit and they bring it to you.
The milkshakes are amazing! Very rich and creamy. the burgers are pretty good as well but they are a bit overly-priced. I would say the quality of the burger is much better than McDonalds. The fries are good and so is the gravy. Its a nice burger indulgence once in a while.
Very cheerful. City Centre location is bright, cheerful, and the shakes are insanely good, yum!

Pretty nice location. Very friendly staff, they greet you as soon as get in. I had a chicken sandwich and yam fries. I really liked the chicken sandwich. The chichen was tender and tasted very good. Delicious yam fries too. I always think that the burger places could be a bit cheaper. Overall good experience there.. I would recommend that place.
Loved my mushroom swiss burger 🍔! The California burger was good too and the fries were on point. A bit more pricey but worth it.
Went there today and tried their Beyond Meat burger, never really been to Fatburger. I am very pleased to see three veggie options on the menu. It was pretty good. The staff at this location are very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was clean and had comfy places to sit. I’ve never been to a fast food place with customer service like this. I felt like I was in a restaurant.
Fast and friendly service. Fast food with the etiquette of a sit down restaurant. Food was brought to my table and garbage was cleared by staff. Kinda a retro atmosphere but was still just another fast food burger joint. Food was good enough quality but not something I'd write home about.
This is a really nice location, the seating area actually runs much deeper than it appears, giving a nice spot away from the bustle of the mall. Food was hot, fresh and fast. Manager was present doing table touches, something I don't see as much anymore, a nice touch.
The place is kept clean (at least apparently so), staff are polite, and the food is consistently good (for what it is). Not as fast as McDonald's, or many other fast food places, but the food is fresher (and better) because of this. A great option for lunch on the go.

I've started to get a double beefy lettuce wrapped burger to make a gluten free hamburger (they don't have a gluten free bun). They do a good job with the lettuce wrap. It has always been nice and crisp and wrapped in foil so you can eat like a hamburger. Their burger is tasty too and you get more of that taste without the bun. Their fries are are not coated with flour but are made in a shared fryer that they fryer breaded stuff in.
