As, always, I'm very satisfied with the meal, nice clean restaurant, with music, TVs, quick service and friendly staff! 2nd visit Ordered their winter special meal deal for $9.99 First time visit at this location I'm impressed! On special right now is their 1/4 pounder Angus burger with bacon meal deal for $9.99 + gst. You get to select your choice of veggies and condiments. Comes with fries and choice of pop (pretty good selections with unlimited refills). Overall dining experience is excellent! Highly recommended. Friendly and courteous staff, you get to order from the till and get serve at your table. With their special meal deal right now, you will save $2.79.

Great staff. Great food! The only draw back was finding a place to sit and enjoy my meal. Was still worth it and I would recommend others to do the same

Pretty nice location. Very friendly staff, they greet you as soon as get in. I had a chicken sandwich and yam fries. I really liked the chicken sandwich. The chichen was tender and tasted very good. Delicious yam fries too. I always think that the burger places could be a bit cheaper. Overall good experience there.. I would recommend that place.

Loved my mushroom swiss burger 🍔! The California burger was good too and the fries were on point. A bit more pricey but worth it.

Went there today and tried their Beyond Meat burger, never really been to Fatburger. I am very pleased to see three veggie options on the menu. It was pretty good. The staff at this location are very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was clean and had comfy places to sit. I’ve never been to a fast food place with customer service like this. I felt like I was in a restaurant.

Fast and friendly service. Fast food with the etiquette of a sit down restaurant. Food was brought to my table and garbage was cleared by staff. Kinda a retro atmosphere but was still just another fast food burger joint. Food was good enough quality but not something I'd write home about.

This is a really nice location, the seating area actually runs much deeper than it appears, giving a nice spot away from the bustle of the mall. Food was hot, fresh and fast. Manager was present doing table touches, something I don't see as much anymore, a nice touch.

The place is kept clean (at least apparently so), staff are polite, and the food is consistently good (for what it is). Not as fast as McDonald's, or many other fast food places, but the food is fresher (and better) because of this. A great option for lunch on the go.

Fresh and juicy! Friendly service.

I've started to get a double beefy lettuce wrapped burger to make a gluten free hamburger (they don't have a gluten free bun). They do a good job with the lettuce wrap. It has always been nice and crisp and wrapped in foil so you can eat like a hamburger. Their burger is tasty too and you get more of that taste without the bun. Their fries are are not coated with flour but are made in a shared fryer that they fryer breaded stuff in.

Food court food gets kicked up a notch if your food court has Fatburger in it! This time around I enjoyed the Cajun Chicken Cheddar burger. While a simple burger, it certainly had great taste. Although you will have to eat it a little fast, as the sauce will make the bread soggy pretty quickly. But the chicken was perfectly seasoned, and perfectly juicy. I enjoyed this burger with the curly fries. You can choose the seasoning for these, and I went with Lemon Pepper to be a little different. None of the fries were soggy and the lemon pepper was Zippy.

Great new location on the Third Floor! They even serve breakfast now!

Food was tasty and ready fast! Space is very tight for parties larger than 3 though. If you're in a larger group, best to take your order to go and sir in the food court area just outside

Excellent service. Great food. Very patient staff. We went there with our baby in the stroller with no issues and plenty of space for the stroller at our table. Thank you for the excellent service.

Love this place. The food is topnotch. I was there today again and would definitely recommend it to everyone. It's definitely not fast food. Quality dining at its finest.

The burgers are made well. Good service. People are walking by to check cleanliness or whether a table needs to be cleared. There a few booths for 4 people, busy mostly 2 person tables.

For some reason the cooking has changed like the mushroom burger use to be oozing mushrooms, sauce & cheese now it's just a plain burger with three slices of mushrooms, barely any sauce & not cheese... Unless they are completely getting my order wrong and it's a issue with the new staff? Yours truly loyal customer

I ate here once 2 years ago when I visited Edmonton. The burger I loved the most was the one with guacamole - the best flavoured burger ever since you don’t get many of those especially in New Zealand. Keep it up

Purchased a groupon for this newly renovated location. A move from the basement of city centre mall to the top floor did the setting some good. Previous location was quite dark and dingy compared to the new spot. Glad it was a groupon though.....I would have been upset if I paid the full price here. Burgers are okay. A bit on the small side for the price....fries were decent but nothing special. No drink with the groupon but the milkshake was the best part....unless of course you want a quick beer with the burger...but a hard sell if you are stopping off for lunch. Just a heads up....Even with the groupon you still need to pay the taxes. Which I knew that before putting a few cents on the debit card...just an inconvenience ....perhaps that’s a way for them to add the tip function to the bill. Love Fatburger. So many different options and you can sub any kind of patty. The milkshakes and fries are really great too and it's got an old diner kind of vibe. Overall a good find.

The last time I went to the City Centre location my hamburger was seared nicely on the outside and completely raw on the inside. This was after a 20 minute wait. The oil used for the fries was obviously old and over used, the fries smelled horrible and tasted just as bad.<br/><br/>When I complained to the staff I was offered a replacement only, not a refund. Thanks for wasting my lunch break.

I was craving a serious burger and have been meaning to try Fatburger for quite some time - I decided today was the day. I stopped in just before lunch to hopefully beat the rush and I'm glad I did as my burger took nearly 20min to prepare. I went with the Double Fat Cheese ($11.99) which consisted of two 1/3lb patties, and all the fixings (minus mustard). The burger felt big but I would hope so based on the price. The patties were good quality and felt like a substantial amount of beef. I did end adding some seasoning salt to the meat as I find most places underseason beef patties. Other than that I found the burger itself to be pretty tasty. I did leave out the mustard as I personally don't like tart or tangy tastes and although the mustard was left out, the pickles are quite strong in flavor and almost made it taste as though I ordered extra mustard. Overall a decent burger and in my mind on par or a bit better than five guys type burger. The price however is one that will keep me from coming here regularly.

Venue: Clean, modern diner look. Lots of seating available.<br/>Staff: Friendly and efficient. We arrived during the downtown lunch rush. It was very busy - but we made our way through the line and placed our order in a blink. The staff bring your food to your table. - and it was out pretty quick. Lots of staff circling tables to clear away waste etc. We were greeted twice during our meal by staff to confirm how the food was tasting and if we need anything. Very nice touch for an express diner. <br/>Food: fresh ingredients - burger patties were grilled to perfection. Good variety of toppings and sides. What can I say - we consumers like options! ;P *Also my friend wanted me to note the whip cream on her milk shake was real whip cream! <br/><br/>Some might feel its on the pricer side for a burger joint but after our experience, you are getting what you're paying for here. Pleasantly surprised first time customers! ;)<br/><br/>The only reason I am not giving this place a 5/5 is for 2 reasons (and I really struggled with this decision, because we did really enjoy ourselves BUT)..<br/><br/>a, I am hesitant to give 5/5 to corporate franchises in general. Call me a a bias local enthusiast - GUILTY AS CHARGED! <br/><br/> And<br/><br/>b, Glorified fast food dinners are trending right now and #Yeg is SWIMMING in so many burger joints with a similar concept.

Pretty good. The burgers are good. Very tasty. Can't resist to go whenever I see a groupon that pops up for $14 for 2 burgers and fries.

The food at Fatburger is good but they get one star because fast food should be fast. We had to wait 30 minutes today to get our meals. They said it would be a 10 minute wait which was fine but that turned into 30 minutes. They're was no apology for it taking so long. If my husband hadn't been with me I would have cancelled my order and gotten my money back.

So-so. The good: Friendly accomodating hardworking staff. Bright clean environment. Endless refills on fountain drinks. Clean retro-style washrooms. Warm burgers.<br/><br/>The bad: Hamburger patties are almost devoid of flavour, taste, or seasonings (sorry to be so blunt). Fries are obviously the pre-cooked frozen stuff and they're also devoid of flavour, taste, or seasonings.<br/><br/>The ugly: (N/A)<br/><br/>Well, that's about it.

Never again. Now I admit it's my own fault for going here because my last experience with Fatburger was not great. Even so it was awhile ago and it was a different location so I thought I would give it another try. It's not the location, it's crap food period. I got the old fashioned bacon cheese burger thinking even if the burger is bland the bacon and cheese would add a little flavor. Not so. This has to be the worst burger I have ever had. Not only was the burger tasteless, that's no true it had taste, (can't really describe it though) just not what a burger should taste like. Most of the fries were undercooked and the rest were barely edible. At least the last time they weren't that bad. Also when she was done taking my order she didn't tell me to keep my receipt. So like I do with a lot of my receipts from fast food restaurants, I threw it out without thinking about it. That would have been fine if when she brought me my order she didn't accuse me of trying to steal someone else"s food. I had to tell her in detail what I ordered including the condiments on my burger. There was 3 other people waiting at the same time for their order when she called my name. Did anyone else say "hey wait! that's not yours, that's my name and my order!" NO they did not. I can afford my own food honey, I don't have to stoop to stealing someone else's. I am a little confused by the reviews I read saying the food was good...OK you people either have no tastebuds or you are starving to death. There is no way I would call that food good, even OK. If anyone is on a diet this would be the perfect place to go. There is no risk of eating to much. I don't usually give reviews but I thought I would try to spare as many people as possible from being just as disappointed as I was. Thanks for reading

Great!. Really good burgers! Milkshakes are to die for! Only problem with this place is the price, but that should not by any means make someone stay away.

Way too much $$$ for what you get - go to DeLux , much better!

Good. I went here with my wife and our two boys. The burger was good, but I agree with everyone that says they are overpriced. I was very impressed with the staff here, they were very friends to my children, they gave them something to play with while we waited for our food, then they gave them each an oreo pack for desert, when we left they also let the boys pick out a toy. <br/><br/>Overhyped, overpriced, friendly staff, good burger.

Overwhelming. I find the burger a little over-priced and I was not pleased the cashier didn't ask me the size of pop and charged me large.

I ordered the triple king burger so big it's not on te menu but if you eat it all you get a free T shirt the burger was delicious I added bacon aswell if your looking for a filling burger get it two thumbs up

Yummy!. I like this place. Nice atmosphere but always quite crowded (I guess it is in a mall, though so it would be). Diner feel to it. Burgers are good if not a bit overpriced. I prefer Red Robin but I would recommend this place. The burgers are always fresh tasting and warm and they are easy to customize.

Not Worth It. There rodeo burger has a bit more meat then wendy's value meal hamburger for $1.39 and wendy's taste better. My burger came with the part of the lettuce that most restaurants would throw away. This place is all hype and over priced. Save your self time and money and go to any other burger place.

Tasty burgers. Small servings of fries. 4 bucks isn't worth the combo upgrade :( other than that it was yummy

Things have really improved since 5 years ago.  I initially gave this place a very poor rating but now that I came back for a Groupon I realized the burger was actually not bad.  The fries are excellent and the fountain pop did the trick.  The burger patty was thin as always but if you don't cheap out you can always add a second patty or something.  The ingredients are fresh and the service is fast and friendly.  A really cool burger joint for downtown.  I'm just not sure if I'll come here without a Groupon though.  It still feels like highway robbery for a fast food burger.  And I still like Burger Joint the best ;)

A long story short, the order taker had a hard time understanding what I wanted to order and when I received it, it was exactly the wrong order. To make it worse the manager was very unapologetic for what obviousy was their mistake. In the end, the burger also tasted different that what I was uses to. I probably won't ever go to the City Centre location again.

Good but over-priced. Its like an old school diner feel when you first walk in. You order your food, find a place to sit and they bring it to you.<br/><br/>The milkshakes are amazing! Very rich and creamy. the burgers are pretty good as well but they are a bit overly-priced. I would say the quality of the burger is much better than McDonalds. The fries are good and so is the gravy. Its a nice burger indulgence once in a while.

Food is the same quality as any other burger place (aside from mcdonalds) and is way over priced. The turkey burger had an odd taste to it. The beef burger was good but nothing special. Fries were okay. Simply not worth the hype!

Very cheerful. City Centre location is bright, cheerful, and the shakes are insanely good, yum!

Great burgers and rings. The address appears incorrect, as the only one I know of is in S Edm Common... The burgers and all the goodies are excellent. The items are made to order and so they are as fresh as can be.
