Good food, however I had fish mixed in with the dry garlic pork, awful surprise for a non fish eater. The fish was deep fryer and battered like pork. Yikes

I only order stuff off the menu. It's decent- greasy spoon Chinese diner style. Don't get the combos though!

I pretended I was Chinese once so I could order off the back menu... It totally back fired and they called me out. Was I embarrassed? Yes. Did I come back? Of course! This is by far the best value food you can get in campus. Never order the westernized food upfront. The back menu is made to order and is way better!

Too little too late. I discovered this in my last semester at the U of A! AHHHHHHH!! I missed out! The portions are huge at this place and it wasn't the western-modified Chinese food that I thought it had. The items on the top back menus are some pretty authentic Cantonese dishes. Last I heard the ex-Sam Wok chef moved to Ho Ho's and I think that's why the food is so good... (I am still afraid of visiting the new Sam Wok location - Ho Ho's will do :D)

Glad to know it’s still open after the pandemic. One of the most tasty Chinese food in town. Love the pork ribs and spicy chicken.

I have been living in Edmonton for 3 years, moved from Toronto. This is my favorite chinese take-out. Second is Sai Woo Garden. I have ordered their Mao Cai (extra spicy) with extra order of spicy beef and szechuan fried meat countless times. Also their cumin beef chow mein is really good. If you like spicy chinese food, this is the place to order from.

This is the heart and soul of my university experience. The only thing I truly miss about being on campus is getting out of class and heading right to Ho Ho's to grab my noodles and pork with black bean sauce.

Liked previous ho ho more than current one, it was more authentic. Even through, they still serve good food for good price. Never was disappointed with the quality and quantity per $.
