Great Starbucks spot on Whyte ave! Nice patio for the summer time, and the staff are super friendly. I had a soy earl grey tea latté and a bag of Hippie Snacks. Just what a needed for an afternoon tea and snack. Glad we stopped in here, and will remember it next time we are in town!
Good location for people watching at the heart of Whyte Ave. Not a lot of electrical outlets for plugging in though.
Pumpkin muffin is delicious!
Vivid personalities and warmth of atmosphere are apparent as soon as I walked in the door. Quick, friendly service helped me on my way out the door in a timely manner. The location is easy to walk to from any direction. If you happen to be driving by and looking for a quick coffee and there is no parking on Whyte Ave you may have to walk up to a block or two to get here.
amazing service, very friendly workers and i got my order really quickly. perfect place to stop and grab a hot chocolate 🙂
I've frequented a lot of Starbucks locations, but this one is by far my favorite. In spite of how busy they always are, their service is quick and friendly. They always get my order just right (and the one time they didn't, they replaced it without issue) and have me on my way within minutes. The staff are always smiling and the place has a great atmosphere!
a very busy location, but really nice people working there
Very good place, I love to have a coffee at Starbucks, always a good option! A fair price and very good products, this store in 82 Ave is always a good option for stop by and have a good coffee!! I recommend to everybody Starbucks, specially if you live coffee!!! Sometimes I go there just to chat with friends and have a nice time.
We just went there, got 1 drink and 2 Eggers.
The cashier was very snutty and messed up the order so we had to wait for it to be made right
Leslyn however was the girl making the drinks and she was absolutely amazing!
She had a great personality and happy energy about her. She was so apologetic about the mistake and made the whole situation a lot better.
I miss the good old days with custom service like this! She literally turned the whole situation around to a positive I would have made q bad review if it wadnt for Leslyn friendliness
I visited and drank my coffee here for 4 days during a stay in Edmonton this March. If I had a restaurant or was running a hotel in Edmonton,I would visit here and poach these employees.Jacob, the Manager, belongs on an All-Canada Starbucks team. And Liv(ia) is a cutie who is so personable. My jaw almost dropped when she asked me if I wanted my banana bread warmed up.What service.Jacob is a TRUE leader who has his employees respect. It's easy to see why.
The shop is small, usually crowded and needed to ask open the door of washroom before you use. However, baristas made good coffees and beverages and were kind all the times I visited. Also it has good location to get by walk.
Very friendly staff and regular people hangout here. I have met new friends here by just being familiar with their faces. The latest brew that I tried is the Nambia Isanya and when the reviewer said it tastes like white grapefruit they are bang on. If you like the Radler type of beer you HAVE to try this Reserve coffee. It is super refreshing in a way I didn't know this hot beverage could!
This was my first Starbucks experience, so I'm a bit biased! The did renovations a few years (?) ago, and have really made the space feel a lot less cramped.
This location, in the heart of Whyte Aven is pretty busy most of the time.
Big Plus! They are one of two Starbucks in the city with a "Clover" brewing station!!! A specialty machine needs special coffee, they have delicious and interesting blends from all over central and South America.
*they even had one that had notes of tomato and basil!
Visit and do some people watching, or have a Clover, or perhaps meet someone new!
