A friend that used to frequent here when she lived in ellerslie suggested we try this place out.. good choice for sure. The chicken satay soup is. Amazing. Period. Regretted not getting it.. until I ate boyfriends leftovers🤷🏼♀️the grilled shrimp is really good here too. Quick friendly service. Will be back for sure.
This place is hands down my favorite place to get Beef Satay Soup in the city. The service is quick, friendly and the price is right. I am a repeat customer here, and would recommend. Main dishes are great here too.
Great location to my work. Friendly staff and fast service. Never disappoints! The food is always fresh and delicious. The menu is large and they are willing to take orders with menu variations, if needed.
Good service even during peak periods. The food is excellent no matter what is ordered. My wife always orders the big bowl soups with vermicelli noodles and I order fried egg noodle dishes with seafood or chicken or beef. They have a cooler full of beer as well. This place never disappoints!!
I very much enjoyed my combo dinner with prawns 🍤 and beef. Nice fresh veggies and the sauce was very good. Great service and not busy during my visit. Will be back when in the area.👍
Had takeout from here twice and both times were very pleasing. Food is priced well and very tasty. My favourite dish would be the pork in caramel sauce, which can be a bit salty but still delicious. The quality of their meat is noticeably higher than an average Asian restaurant, especially with the ginger beef. The coconut curry sauce has a very nice flavour to it. Haven't dined it yet but the staff seems quite friendly. Both times I have been here for dinner and it hasn't been all that busy which is puzzling since the food is so good. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
Delicious pho soup. They de-vein their shrimp which is great and often hard to come by at some restaurants. The shrimp as super juicy and perfectly cooked. The pho soup is a very generous portion and has a good balance between noodles and broth. Very tasty. The restaurant itself is clean and modest.
I love this place it's clean, service is excellent and the food is good. I recommend any of the vermicelli bowls, prawn salad rolls are simple and tasty, you also can't go wrong with anything grilled here. Mmm
Small portion of pho compared to other pho places I've been. Not bad for a quick pho fix but there is other places better plus its a little expensive with what you get for a bowl of pho. Worth trying once there

New South Favorite. I have been going to Pho Hoa for years, but one night my husband and I decided to be adventurous and try something new. Tien Tuyen has been open for a long time now, but I'm quite hesistant in trying new vietnamese places and since we really liked Pho Hoa we didn't feel the need to change.
Anyways, long story short we tried it and now we're hooked. I hate to admit it, but I've been there three times in two weeks, which includes our first time there. After that first night, I was hooked.
The spring rolls were delicious, in fact some of the best I've had. Same with the deep fried wontons. Great peppery flavour and lots of meat. I tried the spicy vietnamese soup with pork and beef and substituted the noodles for pho noodles (I prefer them better). It's a one size fits all, and these bowls do not dissappoint in terms of quantity. And quality? The broth, WOW. Its super spicy, but man is it addicting. The flavour is amazing, savory, makes my mouth water just thinking about it. My husband thought it had too much of a lemongrass flavour, so he opted for the pho tai on the next visit. Said the broth was also some of the best broth he's had. We are pho people. We love pho and I'd like to think that we know our pho extremely well if that helps as a gauge as to how good the soup is here.
We decided on that first night that this would now be our new go-to vietnamese restaurant. Pho Hoa had a good run, but we're moving up in the world.
