First impression upon walking through the main doors immediately brought a smile to our faces. What an impressive place. We felt very comfortable. The staff were so very nice.
The bad part is this place has large rooms they rent out for private parties close to the main entrance and the majority of the tables are within earshot of these rooms and the noise/sounds can effect your experience.
Unfortunately for us, there was a very young child being carried into one of these private parties who was very upset for some reason and screamed over and over and over for approximately fifteen minutes and ruined our dinner. It dominated the entire restaurant. A piercing scream that was so loud it hurt the eardrums.
A suggestion would be to ask for a table well away from the private parties IF they are noisy.

Gave this a second try after having a poor experience a few years back. It is now under new management (former Urban China) and the difference shows. It was great. All the shrimp dim sum offerings were filled with plump fresh tasting shrimp and not the usual over-frozen stuff. Sui Mai has a fresh ground pork taste. The curried squid was tender and not "fishy". The egg tarts were still warm and delicious. We are looking forward to coming back and trying the Scheshuan items on the house menu. The house menu has something from all parts of China

Friendly staff, very nice and bright place and the food is delicious loved the lobster 🥰overall had a great experience will definitely visit again
