My Dinner Club went here a few months ago for our Veg Out theme! I'm sorry it took me so long to review. It was a great Vegan and Vegetarian restaurant and I will definitely go again to try other dishes.
We shared some appetizers which were amazing. The Green Onion Flax Cakes make non-vegan ones pale in comparison. The XL Mosaic Wings were an all around hit....I'd return for these alone.
A few different beverages were enjoyed and as I left it too long to review I can't recall all the choices. Everyone was pleased despite a few beers not available at the time. My cocktail was a type of Moscow Mule and it was refreshing.
My hubby had the Unicorn burger with the fried egg (very appealing to his Aussie genes) and the kale Caesar salad (which I got to taste and it was great). I ordered the Falafel Bowl which was delicious but didn't feel filling enough as it was mostly raw veggies, maybe more hummus or another sauce plus a grain or something crunchy for texture would have helped. Another friend felt the same way about her Falafel Bowl. Another fellow Dinner Clubber ordered the Laughing Monkey Hot Pot which she absolutely adored and it did look incredible. The Curry Bowl was ordered as well and my friend said it was very satisfying.
We all agreed that this was a great place but we also all agreed that too much garlic was used as it stayed with us for the rest of our evening when we went to a friend's house to play games.
Their food is always so tasty, and the atmosphere is very cute. They have really great vegan options, especially for brunch, which is often hard to find. I’d recommend the vegan benny!
I am not a vegetarian but a few of my friends are. So when they first recommended Cafe Mosaics I was intrigued by what they would offer. This menu is HUGE! I mean I was just floored by how many creative vegetarian options were in front of me. From my few visits, I’ve had their hummus salad and unicorn burger. Both are so delicious, so filling, and as cliché as it sounds, I never once missed the meat. This place does an incredible job making vegetarian food approachable and whimsical.
Lovely space, and friendly staff. Tried the Secret Burrito which was delicious! Food came at a good portion. Definitely a place to try at least once.
Cafe Mosaics is proof that vegan food can be tasty, even for meat eaters like myself. I got the hot pot: tasty broth with noodles and veg. The kale and nuts on top were great with the broth, the veg in the broth were a little bland. Service was adequate.
Went here with my daughters tonight, and really enjoyed our meals! It was past 7 when we arrived on a Thursday night and the place was packed ... we were seated at a high table , which while comfy enough was quite cool, many other patrons also had gear on. The service was fairly good ( she was busy) food great ... I had the stir fry, my daughters Mac and cheese also great! We

We had the hummus, mac and cheese, and two lattes. Everything was really good, but I especially enjoyed the mac and cheese, it was delicious. The atmosphere is nice but definitely go early as it gets quite busy.
I got the pancakes and I partner got the breakfast combo (can't remember what it was actually called) and they both tasted really good. I have a lot of dietary restrictions so going here was a great decision because I loved the pancakes!
Love this cafe so much. A couple of my friends are vegetarian (I am not) so this is our go to place when we hang out. The food is so good and I am pleasantly surprised every time. The hummus and truffle reishi shrooms is so dang good. I could swim in that hummus. I ordered the portobello mushroom quinoa risotto and the portion is huge. I was full half way through and packed it to bring home. The flavours of the portobello, coconut cream, tomato, onion etc all came together beautifully. As a half Vietnamese, I love my pho and the vegan pho they serve is surprisingly tasty. If you are looking to spoil yourself, order a fresh pressed juice. I got the scarlet and it was refreshing.
Overall, the cafe is cute, the food is excellent but it is on the pricier side. Definitely worth a try and you can feel less guilty about eating out. 😜
The only thing I have tried here was the nachos. And oh my god. Those were the best nachos ever. It can get super messy but it was so delicious. I need to come back to try other food items! The interior is also super adorable, it would be great to come for supper in the summer!
