Great service, portion sizes were awesome, food was fantastic!!
It’s been too long since I’ve ate Indian food so I decided we should check out one we’ve never been to, Kurry Kebab. It’s located in between Teriyaki Corner and Minimango. We dropped in on a holiday Monday (around 7:00pm). A couple groups ate in but most were getting takeout. We were a group of 5 so we were able to order several dishes. Service is friendly (one waitress) and our waters were refilled constantly.
Excellent taste with very authentic blend of Indian spices, I highly recommend the fish tandoori and chicken tikka, the naan bread is absolutely delicious!
I love this place. Simple menu but my favourite Indian food in town. prices are very fair too. I eat here every chance I get! Try the chicken vindaloo!
Kurry Kebab is hidden in a corner of a strip mall, and a Friday lunch trip there from a recommendation left me satisfied. I stopped by around noon and was greeted to an empty restaurant, which I thought was weird. I was greeted by the owner who allowed me time to figure out what to order. I settled on their butter chicken, and also ordered a veggie samosa that my coworker had suggested. And at $1/samosa, why not right? It took a little while to receive my food, however I interpreted that to be because the food was extremely fresh.
There was a lot of food. It came with rice, two curry side dishes, and naan bread. It was good but not amazing. I enjoyed it but there was nothing that made it stand out. I didn't find the curry very spicy either. I liked the large portion size, however. Samosas were also pretty good. Flaky and generous potatoes on the inside.
All in all, it's a decent quiet place to grab lunch when you're in the area, but it by no means is anything amazing. Recommended.
The menu is not very elaborate however I have tried the mutton biryani and it is quite good. Not too spicy. The portion can easily fill 2 people.
I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious, and the staff is so friendly. The gentleman that helped me this afternoon actually took the time to talk to me while my food was being cooked for takeout. He taught me about how Naan is made, and the differences between how things are done here in Canada compared to India. I was extremely impressed!
I've been here a few times now, I'm always impressed with the quality and flavor of the food it's so good! And generous with the rice too! It's one of the top takeout Indian places in the south and well priced in my opinion. The place is average on the inside and the music is hit and miss. Oh and probably the best mango lassie I've had in a long time. I love this place!
Very good value. I had the lunch special today and was thoroughly impressed. Very Tasty and a great value. For under ten bucks I got beef curry, butter chicken, lentil curry, rice, potatoes, yogurt, a sweet and a big hunk of Nan. The atmosphere was a bit underwhelming, but I don't see how they could have spent any more money building out the space and still charge the low prices they do.
The quality was excellent and I will be back.
Amazing indian food. I been to a lot of indian restaurants and the food here is really good compare to a lot of places. I got the butter chicken and the chicken vindaloo here and it tasted really good.
I would recommend this place!
KURRY KEBAB YOU GOTTA EAT HERE. Just a reminder YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!!!! The food is sooooo good! !!
I loved this place. Great service, clean, and quick. Samosas are huge for their price, and delicious. We got the beef seekh kebab and kalami kebab, and I cannot recommend them enough. The beef was wonderfully spiced, and the chicken was succulent and tender. A new favourite of ours.
I had lunch here with my mom,
The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional. Suresh, the owner was very kind and welcoming. If you are in the area I really recommend you visit this place, it’s a hidden gem and I can’t wait to come by again!
Suresh is an Excellent Chef passionate about his food it’s quality and freshness. I’ve ordered a few times shared my feedback and he warmly accepted and showed he his committed to his craft. I’ll be a returning customer highly recommend Sheesh kebab and Mutton Biryani worth every bite
Courteous staff with quick service.
Lamb Korma has a great flavour with a mild heat. 1 portion will feed 2 people. $15
Veggie Samosas pack a flavour punch and are very crispy. $1 each
Large portion of rice for $4
Naan is cut into 2 pieces - each half larger than my palm. $2.50 per 1 whole
Ras Malai is a Pistachio Dessert - refreshing after the bold flavours of the Korma & Samosa $5
Only drinks in store are pop.
Excellent! The veggie samosa was amazing and a must try!!! Don't let the atmosphere or location fool you this place is great. Can't wait to go back.
The best Indian restaurant in town. Food was great!!! I tried mutton biriyani and chicken malai kebab which were super delicious and recommend everyone to try.
I had the chicken vindaloo. It wasn't as spicy as I would have liked it but it was still tasty. The waitress didn't let me substitute the chicken for shrimp which I found odd. This would be a great place for picking up or take out. It's cosy inside but they give you the take out menu to order from and one of the bathroom doors is backwards.
