It took awhile to get my meal but well worth the time. Extremely fresh and very satisfying. Very fresh veggies and the sow mien was one of the best. Would certainly come back.
This place is a hidden gem in the SW. I've dined in about 5 times now and they exceed our expectations every time! Service is incredible - very very friendly, promptly takes away finished dishes and they even replace your used plates and bowls. The food is generally really good although I admit some dishes I have tried were mediocre. Also, some of their items are more on the pricy side compared to other places. I will still be coming back given their amazing service, quality of the food, and cleanliness of the restaurant.

Most of my orders from Amazing Wok have been positive, until this time. Because their service was so bad I'll go elsewhere in the future. Here's how it went: I called the restaurant and waited on hold for 5 minutes for someone who could take my order. The lady was obviously in a hurry, but managed to answer a few of my questions. I was told it would take 45 minutes for delivery. No problem. After an hour I called the restaurant and was told my food would be there right away and hung up on me, even though I never told them who I was.
An hour and a half after I placed my order the food arrived. That's twice as long as I was quoted. I called back again because items were missing from my order.

Me: I HAVE my food, but there's stuff missing
AW: Yes Ok good bye
Me: DO NOT HANG UP

It was able to impress my Chinese mother into saying "it tastes authentic"! Went at lunchtime, food was great. They only had one server but I think that will change as they become more popular.
We ordered delivery and had dinner for two.
While the food was very good and flavorful, the price was very high for the portions. They need to increase portions on the dinner for two as my husband could have easily eaten everything all to himself.
Good food, long wait. The food here is amazing and the servers are super nice, but be prepared to wait for take out. Every time we order (once a month or so) it takes 15-30 minutes longer to get our food on top of the wait time we're told. Frustrating to say the least, but it's the best Chinese food in the ellerslie area. Just wish they'd be at least a bit more accurate on the phone or actually make the food in 20-30 minutes as we're quoted.
They definitely got the name right.....This place had Amazing food...Best I have had in Edmonton ...Pad Thai ...Spring rolls...Dumplings ...Finally a High Quality Chinese Takeout...Delish

Yummy Seafood Congee! $9 for a huge bowl with lots of stuff inside. The noodles were standard.
Ordered a dinner for three through Uber eats and it was delicious. Definitely an excellent choice for Chinese food! Everything was really tasty and the portions were a good size...we were hungry and had already eaten some before I took my photos...😆

Mae, who has always been there since I have started going for sometime now, always remembers me, as well she's quick to suggest trying something new for me. This time it was Rice Noodles with Peking duck. It's a big meal and tasty like everything here.

What an "Amazing" find in Edmonton! Upon ordering from many places around Edmonton to find the best of the best, along came "Amazing Wok"! Really fresh and delicious Asian Cuisine and a MUST TRY. A true experience that is surly AMAZING. Good on all of you, I'm so excited to visit Edmonton just to come have dinner with you. Thank you for tantalizing our taste buds once again!
Amazing Wok is my go to place to get Chinese food! I have not found a place in Edmonton that even comes close to them. The food is consistently really delicious. Always fresh and hot even when Its being delivered. The portions are always really generous. The combination special for two on their menu can definitely feed three people if you wanted. Eating in house is always a treat because of the great service they provide. My Grandma and I have been exclusively ordering from this place for the last 8ish years and they have never disappointed us. If I could give it a higher rating I definitely would! Highly recommend for anyone wanting authentic Chinese food!
