Never Disappoints food is ways kept warm and full. Naan sometimes is not always available. Staff are friendly and polite. I guarantee that you will enjoy yourself if you visit.
Stopped for buffet this evening. Supervised at how busy restaurant is at eight O-clock at night. Butter chicken, Naan, pakora, salads, Indian sweets, rice, custards, and a chocolate fountain. Lots on the Buffet to pick from, not all of it traditional flavors, a more western approach. Butter chicken is missing tenderness and spice, mostly tomato in flavor. However other proteins are very tender. Service is average.
Excellent food always
We went to dinner time, restaurant was very clean, very hot food and we were enjoying that time
All the times great food and great quality
Thanks
A great way to enjoy a neighbourhood restaurant and dabble in Indian cuisine, via the buffet. Although there are higher-end and more exotic Indian restaurants in the city, this is a great little place to experience a taste of India without going far off the beaten path, nor breaking the bank.
Been to this location many many times and I mostly go for the buffet. The price is cheap for all you can eat and the food ain't that bad either. The service is average and staff is okay. The interior is beautiful as always however sometimes your table can be a bit dirty from previous customers. I am sure it is time consuming to replace all the fabrics on the table when someone leaves, but it would be nice to have a clean table. This is a good place to go for all you can eat if you are craving East Indian food and on a budget. Will I be back? Of course, when I am craving East Indian and am on a budget.
Love it here, always great fast service, very personable, great food! Best new asian village, been to the others and they just don't compare!
Lived in Clareview for years.
This was a regular stop for my family to indulge in "ethnic" food in a fashion eveny young kids could handle.
Certainly not the best Indian fare in town, but never disapointed given that we only ever are off the buffet.
Always had a more consistantly pleasung experience here than we have at the Sherwood Park location we are close to now.
Great Food, Horrible Service. We attended the buffet for a birthday party, the food was amazing however the drink service was absolutely ridiculous. It took 20 minutes to get my first drink, had to wave servers down and I asked 3 times for water. They could have easily sold us all at least another 2 drinks if they weren't so slow.
Delicious food, we had the buffet, expecially loved the lamb and fish, service was excellent, loved the ambience, will be back for sure :)
We drive 100+km for this place!. This is our favourite haunt for restaurants in Edmonton, mostly because it's in a good part of the city. But it's SO good every time we go! 2 reasons I know what I'm talking about:
1) I lived in England for 10 years on the curry mile in Manchester - I know good Indian food.
2) I had an Indian friend there that used to invite us over for dinner frequently - a lot of the Hare Krishna foods he cooked for us are in this NAV buffet and taste just as FAB!
We recently tried the NAV in Sherwood Park for convenience and I won't be going back. Perhaps it's because Clareview is such an ethnic community that raises the bar - it says something when you see families of Indian/Bangladeshi descent eating in an Indian restaurant!
I don't know why people are saying the service is poor - I've been there dozens of times with various friends and never had a bad experience.
We always have lunch buffet in this place. Lots of variety of food. The food here is always fresh, high quality and lots of variety. This a great place for people who love chicken and fish.
We also love ordering vegetarian samosas to go. It is so delicious. I highly recommend in ordering samosas here and having lunch here.
Also a great place for take-out.
Food was great. Naan was readily available. Did not see any paneer. Mango pudding is a bit watery and not chunky like the West location - inconsistently made at this location. Service was nice with somebody watching over and refilling water.
Always a pleasure dinning at this place. Will be back in the future.. $23 a person + tip for the buffet on a Tuesday evening.
