An eclectic Cajun diner on Whyte Ave. Service was fast, friendly, and our server was super knowledgeable (overheard assisting other tables). The drinks were served super fast and while our appies took a bit longer to materialise they were worth the wait. This most recent visit we shared the Cajun Calamari (fantastic) and Fritters (sweet potato or the jalapeño were my favorites). Mussels are always delicious and our standby I have only ever eaten the Po'boy sandwiches as an entree: fried oyster is delicious as is pulled pork. The sweet potato fries have a thick and crispy batter with a soft and buttery inside. I love dipping them in the Tiger Sauce mixed with a bit of the mayo dip. The hash is tasty too and deserves the side of gravy. Dessert consisting of a shared slice of pecan pie is heavenly. But for an even richer end to your meal the Banana Foster is unbelievable (feeds 4+ easily). Plus the show with tableside flambé is pure fun!

Had never been before, but since it was my birthday and my brother was in town, my boyfriend said we have to go. So we went, and I wasn't disappointed! I can't wait to come back. First time I've ever had a Po Boy, and from this place it won't be the last. My brother wants to come back to Edmonton so he can come back for the catfish. Keep up the awesome food and the great atmosphere that the place has. I can't forget the staff, as they were going to close about an hour after we had shown up, and they treated us like rock stars!!!

First timer to DaDeo here! Gotta say, DaDeO is definitely your one stop shop for New Orleans food here in YEG! The price was extremely fair for the portions that I was getting! The staff was extremely nice and personable! Our server Tyler was awesome! I started off with the Corn Fritters, AMAZING! They were crispy on the outside and nice and light on the inside! Then I had the Calamari Po’boy, delicious! The jambalaya rice and side of tam fries were perfection! Everything here was delicious and I am definitely coming back for more.

My favorite restaurant in Edmonton. The sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had. Po'boys are to die for. They do discount po'boys during the week for lunch. We bought the jalapeño jelly and DaDeO spices to take home. Cool vibes and great service. We always make a stop here whenever we're in town.

BEST NEW ORLEANS FOOD IVE EVER HAD. This place is a perfect 10. From the outside, it's not crazy flashy. It has a nice diner retro vibe, but the food is probably the best food I've had in a long time. I've had jambalaya before and I thought I didn't like it, until I came here. PORTIONS are huge and worth every penny, and the flavours are honestly amazing. Come eat here if you're reading this.

Finally a date night with my wife and on a Friday evening. This was the perfect spot to enjoy some Southern/Cajun comfort food. We were seated up front looking out the bay window and were able to get in the Whyte Ave sights while enjoying drinks and dinner. First time trying a radler and bourbon and it was really good and would highly recommend. Can't have a meal without trying the biscuits and jalapeno jelly which was a nice little starter. Followed this with some calamari and finally dinner which was a blackened catfish po'boy, potato hash and my wife had the jambalaya. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We really didn't want to leave and if humanly possible, would have kept eating to stay a bit longer. Restaurant has a great diner vibe, lots of neon, classic 50ies decor. Service was impeccable, our waitress was great considering she was juggling dine in patrons, checking IDs and vaccine passports and dealing with a bunch of skip/uber eats/doordash drivers piling up at the entrance. Great experience here, we will be back again soon.

Love this place. Great music, staff, and decor. I’ve had the seafood jambalaya and the gumbo which were both awesome. Sweet potato fries are tasty, but are always short on sauce and it’s a bit of an annoyance to be charged for more. The jalapeño jelly and biscuits are a great starter. Would recommend

Very cool place, first dish I ordered was just amazing! The apple and Avocado salad- add chicken as well and it was just delicious! Second dish was calamari which was not good- the calamari itself was extra rubbery and the crust was just to heavy and tasteless. Over all I loved this place and definitely come again once in Edmonton, I must try more as the salad just left a very good impression on me
