Kathir food experience is a really good restaurant. The service is prompt and straightforward. I have ordered the Mysore masala dosa and the plain masala dosa, both of which were excellent. I think the only suggestion I have is to make the restaurant a little brighter. The ambiance currently is quite dim and could use some improvement.

I went to this place on a Sunday and was very surprised to see how packed this place was. I ordered the Mysore masala dosa, veg masala dosa and mango lassi. All were very tasty. The service was good inspite of having only 2 servers and a full crowd to serve.

The place is really small and sweet, very neat and quiet the food is authentically south Indian , loved the dosa and kothu but the sambhar had not that great flavours , if you really feel like having an actual medu vada this is the place for you!

The waiter was very friendly and helpful & took the time to explain menu items and help us with our selections. Everything was amazing! We will definitely be back very soon! The menu is large and varied, and I want to try more. Highly recommend this place :)

nice place, liked the description of each special item placed with image on the wall, we tried kotthu roti and vada Sambhar.. ...the quantity was really good...kotthu roti was amazing...authentic taste... don't like the vada Sambhar.. .as Sambhar taste was not authentic...but still good...

My work colleagues and I come here often for lunch. The service is fantastic and the food is incredible. Love the Garlic Masala Dosa (if you order this, add paneer, SO TASTY). Everything I've tried here so far has been absolutely delicious. Definitely our go-to lunch spot!

I'd never had Sri Lankan food before, and my first result ended with me wishing there was more room in my stomach. Well prepared food with an amazingly balanced set of flavours. If you don't like the hot stuff, watch out for the peppers though!

I am a dosa lover :)
Would love to experiment on different types of varieties and would say this place is one of the best. I ordered Mysore masala dosa, it was really tasty and authentic. I would say it is a bit crowded ... The tables are too close by, so not much privacy. With a lot of people u can hardly hear the other person. Will visit again.

The Food at Kathir is pure goodness. The service is on point and the waiters are very friendly. Best place for south indian food in all Edmonton. I'am a long time customer of Kathir and they always keep improving. Kathir restaurant is a must visit for all indian food lovers. The location at west is bigger than south and the food is equally as good. I love to go to the west location with my friends and family.

Let me start off by saying I have a wonderful experience at Kathir Food Experience. I am a regular customer for over 3 years now and the food has always been exquisite and exceptionally good. The service is great with young guys treating the guests well. It's pathetic how people mention things that as a customer I have never experienced at this place before. However, this place has been such a great South Indian/ Srilankan restaurant in town. People who complaints the food is not authentic clearly doesn't know what South Indian food is! Wonderful food and service and I will always keep returning to this place without any regrets. The dosa and kothu roti are just amazing and great varieties to choose from!. This place is a must try and will definitely recommend my friends and family. Cheers and keep up the good work guys!

It was a good experience overall. We ordered Onion Masala dosa and also tried their filter coffee. Food and coffee was really good in taste. One thing I would like to mention is the use of oil in their dosa was less, which makes it even more amazing. Definitely give a try to this place.

A good place to eat South Indian cuisine, I visit this place with my family as my sister is big fan of South Indian Thali. You can also try a variety of other items on menu and some days they do offer buffet meals on table but do check with them on the date and time in advance to plan accordingly. The space is neat and the staff is polite, overall a good experience. You may want to consider this place if you like South Indian food.

Food was excellent. One of the best South indian restaurants in Edmonton. Price vs value is amazing. Definitely worth trying it. Also their mutton curry and mutton biryani is was out of the world. Highly recommend

The only thing I have tried here is the Vada dipped in Sambhar. Ask them for some coconut chutney on the side and it's so amazing. I find their price quite reasonable. The staff is very humble and overall the experience has always been great.

By far, this is the best South Indian Restraunt in YEG. Dosa and all chutneys are super fresh and authentic. As the name says, this indeed is an food experience. Absolutely loved the place. Staff is super polite and friendly. Highly recommend to everyone. Cheers!!

One of the best South Indian restaurants in Edmonton!! Kottu roti, mysore masala dosa and fried fish is my favourite. Food quality is amazing and I was blown when I received our skip order today with extra vadas because they missed them last time. What a superb customer service. you guys are doing great job!!!
