I’m a born and raised Edmontonian, and I consider myself to be quite in-tune with the city. It’s hard to believe that a restaurant can be open for 12 years, and that I’ve only took notice of them recently. It becomes even harder to believe because this restaurant pumps out incredible potato filled dumplings which must be shared with the entire city, yet, they are quietly idling in the background.
It's a great little place for a quick lunch. Working on the south side and getting sick of the chains this is a great little gem with unique flavoured perogies! I love that they often have different a variety from tex mex to shepherds pie to your basic potato and cheese. The meatballs are a tad salty but that creamy gravy is great! This is a local family owned and run shop so don't pay too much attention to the less than stellar interior but they begin to know their regulars and they're always quick to get you in and out. Come in with the right expectations and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Amazing Perogies. This is fast, friendly and amazing perogies. There are generous portions and great quality. I wish they had a webpage to view the daliy specials and selections. Lunch time nears!! mmmmm
I have been eating here on and off for 7 years. Food is always very tasty. The variety of different perogies keeps the taste buds happy. Must try the meatballs in mushroom gravy if you go. Service is always fast and friendly. It is like a small mom and pop lunch diner. Sandwiches are made fresh, and you can always grab frozen perogies on the way out to take home. 10 out of 10 in my books.
Small family run restaraunt. About 20 tables. Menu is on a chaulk board behind the cash register. Nothing special, the food is home made and great!! If your a fan of perogies, go and try it.
