Easy walk from downtown across from Canada Centre on 97th about half block north of Jasper. Big clean super friendly. Get there at noon because offerings diminish as folks fill up. Traditional cart service and order what you want - your choice!! The dim sum was amazingly hot fresh from the hot hot steamer! Never had dim sum served so fresh and nice!! Had shrimp pork beef w ginger - have lots of types plus just ask! Will definitely return. PS excellent chili oil - often weak this had nice flavour plus heat!
Dim sum is great, especially the shrimp on green peppers. Have not tried anything other than the dim sum items. And you can get them any time, not just Sunday's.

Good, but not great.. I went in on a Saturday to satisfy my dim sum craving. I went in the late afternoon, so the place was empty. As such, the service was perfectly fine, as the server only had me to take care of. The food was pretty good- I had the steamed pork dumplings, shrimp dumplings, steamed pork buns, beef spareribs in black bean sauce, and steamed beef dumplings. The menu was a bit limited, as they didn't have fried taro root pork dumplings (yeah, I dig on swine) much to my disappointment. What I did get was tasty, however.
Overall, I liked my experience, but I want to see what this place is like on a busy night before I make any final judgements.

Good dim sum. Maybe not the best in town, but definitely a top for dimsum. Excellent location close to Shaw and just enough away from the traffic of downtown. Good service, nice location and ambiance.
AMAZING. The quality of this food is absolutely remarkable I can't even explain how good it is. Definitely has some very good service constantly on their feet when it is busy the foods always fresh the staff is very friendly and i'll personally keep coming to this place for quite some time
Good Dim Sum. Went for Dim Sum with a friend last week. Food was great and plentiful! Carts came around regularly and food was hot and tasty. Great amounts. Friendly service. Good time had by all. Looking forward to going again!! Definately have the shrimp roll! Yum!
Excellent food and good atmosphere. Good value as wel as exceptional service. It's truly a treat to eat at New Tan Tan.
