We have been going to this restaurant since they were opened 3 days and we always order the hamburger steak. We have tried all of the others which are good but keep coming back to the hamburger steak. The decor is old but this is family run; just food you would eat everyday I think. We are happy and I do not like to spend money unless food is good. We do not like fancy dance restaurants as pricey, do not know half of what we may want to order; need interpreters for these restaurants and hubby comes out not happy so back to Astros for hamburger steak.
On a road trip to visit family and they assured us that Astros had some top quality food. We ordered delivery and received quick and friendly service. We ordered 3 pizzas, 3 spaghetti and meatballs, calamari, 2 salads and a souvlaki dinner. We have to say this restaurant is top notch. Wishing they were in Calgary!
Have been to astros for over 30 years lunch once a week so I know the menu and staff well one of the best pizzas in town, Zambellis next best. Staff family run, extremely friendly, the make the best veal cutlets very reasonably priced
Known for Delicious. I've been going to Astros when it was in the basement of the old Metrolpolitan building on 102 St. The food has always been delicious with friendly, caring staff...in fact, during my last visit my waitress asked about my daughters who now have children of their own. I asked my kids where they would like to have dinner this weekend as everyone is together for the first time in a year and they BOTH responded "at Astros"!! My kids and five grandkids, husbands, my wife & myself wil be there again. Great food, excellent service and good pricing!
Good. The decor was old, the menu dated, The service great and the food was very good. I had the pork chops all it said on the menu was I got apple sauce and my choice of side (I got he baked potato). when it came out the pork chops kinda looked dried out and thin. however they very still moist and full of flavor, and also got a large serving of Coleslaw which was awesome it was not weighed down by too much mayo and had a light acidic and sweet taste to it. SO in the end had a very pleasant experience
One of the best family restaurants in town. Staff are very friendly, make you feel like you were at home. One of our favorite places to relax and enjoy a great meal. Their lasagna and meatballs are the best, bar none.
Two thumbs up for this restaurant! The service was friendly and fast, the food was awesome! My steak was over an inch thick and done to perfection! Great food & great prices! I will be back to try the pizza very soon.

The food is great and all ways teaste wonderfull. They have been in business for over 30 years.
There menu is wide range form salads to normal food. There veal cultless are to die for. Best veal cultess I ever had. If your a dieter don't have the veal. They have half portions for the old and kids.

What a great little place to go enjoy a nice quiet meal. No loud music blaring, your can carry on conversations, drink delicious wine and enjoy being waited on. I will certainly be going back!
We have been going here for years before Covid-19. Went there today for lunch and the family run restaurant is still fantastic. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quiet date night or any time you want great food. We will be going back. The pizza is excellent and the veal cutlets are the best

Had a pizza here and loved it. The right amounts of cheese and toppings. Crust was very good The service was okay, friendly staff. Been around for a long time, that speaks volumes. Clean restaurant, lots of parking.
We visited Astros for the first time tonight. Heard lots about it but finally gave it a try. Service was great and the entrees were even better. It was busy with lots of regulars. We will definitely be back.
The food was great! It was freshly made. The people were very accommodating too. The ambience of the place was perfect, very homey.
