It wasn't that too busy when I visited on Monday for lunch. Food was decent and service was decent as well. Our server was very knowledgeable. Will be back.
We had always seen this restaurant driving around, but had never heard of it. We stopped in for dinner and everything was excellent. Food, service and prices. This will be a new regular for us.
Great place to stop by for lunch as service is pretty quick and efficient. Have gone here a few times and always opt for the bento lunch as it has a variety of dishes included. My favourite is definitely the tempura, the shrimp are the perfect size and remind me of the tempura I've had in Japan.
I've also tried the dolsot bibimbap, and it hasn't disappointed. Although I find their gochujang paste is quite mild, since my partner and I often use the entire serving of gochujang paste to mix into the bibimbap.
Service has always been excellent each time I've gone. They constantly refill our water and check in to see how the meal is going. The sushi is definitely a Western approach but thankfully it hasn't tasted like a sick cat fish ;)
I really liked this place. Space was very nice. Ordered the dinner bento box. Chose the sushi, sashimi, tempura and calamari. Salad that came with the bento was very good. I actually could not decide what to have for dinner, there are lots of items on the menu I would like to go back and try.
the most satisfying sushi restaurant in the city, i think. menu is diverse as it provides something for sushi lovers, non-sushi lovers, vegetarians. favorite place to go when i crave good food with options. fish is fresh and rice is perfectly seasoned. their famous crispy crunch roll is delicious and galbi ribs are the best!!! service is always beyond expectation. great ambience for both special and casual dining.
Great service and food. I ordered the Valentine's rolls along with Bulgogi beef. Both were excellent. Looking forward to returning and trying their other menu items.
Huh, I thought I reviewed this place. . .Well, take this year-ish late review for what it is worth, but we went here and found it generally good. All of the food was tasty (especially the soft-shell crab roll!), though the sushi was average compared to other places in the city. The prices were fine for most Japanese places, the service was great, and all four of us came out feeling pleasantly full. I cannot say it is as good as Kyoto or Izakaya Tomo or Japonais Bistro (which I must admit, I hate the name of as it should be Bistro Japonais!), but as a neighbourhood restaurant I think it is more than acceptable. I haven't been here recently, alas, though that may change as I finally get more time and disposable income to eat out again.
We got here right when they opened at 11:30 so service was quick and food came out quick as well. The server was friendly and nice. The bento boxes are a great value, about $14-15 per bento and with tons of food. I loved the salad that came in the bento, and the fact that the rolls weren't thick with rice. The fish tasted fresh and weren't cut too thick or thin. I don't know that I would come back for dinner, but for lunch this is a great place.

Best Korean/Japanese cuisine on 124 STR. Staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Food is always tasty and fresh. Intim and cozy
Came here for lunch and it was an excellent surprise. I truly dislike maki rolls but I absolutely LOVED the dynamite roll. The Beef BiBimbap was excellent and my wife's sashimi bento box was huge! Elevated foodie flavors at a reasonable price!!
