Strangely I've never been to this Edmonton institution until now. We arrived at 11:00 to a line-up but it moved quickly. Service was very friendly although understandably hurried. I ordered the eggs benedict from a huge selection and range of sizes. It was good; the eggs were cooked soft the way I asked. I swapped out the potatoes for toast (and then ate my wife's potatoes) and the bread was definitely above standard. The only weak area was the coffee. They gave us a carafe but it wasn't particularly hot 🔥 or good. If that's my only complaint I would say that they're doing quite well. 5 out of 5 stars.
Breakfast at Haps Hungry House. This restaurant is very busy but they still Found us a table quickly out on the covered patio. Coffee comes in a hurry and your cup is never empty as they bring a thermal pot for you to have at the table. Ordered eggs Benedict and ham and eggs for the table. Waitress warns us that the kitchen is very busy and the wait could be longer thank usual.
Breakfast arrive in under 15 min and piping hot. Ham is a slice of a ham roast fries with a ring of caned pineapple and served with thick roast, hash browns and eggs. Old fashioned ham and eggs for breakfast. Eggs Benedict comes with rich and creamy hollandaise, a very good mix. Eggs are cooked perfectly, and served with hash browns.
Staff are fabulous! Friendly, chatty, helpful and attentive. Menu has lots of choices with affordable prices.
