We use to live in the area, and this place was a gem. It used to have an old school Italian decor (castle walls and country sides) with the best pizza and pasta. It was so good that we had our wedding rehearsal dinner here: We were always treated like family. The owner/chef always came to chat and thank you for coming. We moved away 10 years ago and missed this place. Happen to be in the area with friends and decided to have one of our first outings in a long time at an old favourite. The decor has been updated, but the service and food remain amazing. Possibly the best crust for a pizza in the city. Huge portions, well priced, and good, quality ingredients. We had the Pizza Margherita, La Capricciosa, and the Godfather’s Choice. And for old time sake, the owner /chef came out to thank us at the end. Would recommend to anyone whether you order in or take out.
One of my TOP favourite for that authentic family owned Italian. Make sure you call and make a reservation- it’s busy.
I have hosted private dinner party of 30 + set menu style, gone on date night and snuck away with a girlfriend for a glass of wine and some good quality food along side great friendly service.
Hands down my new favorite place to eat out!!! We've been here twice now and this is our version of "Dinner for 2." Two large NY Style pizzas (the crust is amazing, it doesn't leave you feeling full point where you can't move and the toppings are so fresh). The Ravioli is like heaven melting in your mouth and the Fettuccine Alfredo has such a nice, light, flavorful sauce and isn't too rich. We always plan to order enough so we can have leftovers the next day because it is sooooo good!! I'm 7 months pregnant and I swear when we walked in the last time and I smelt the wonderful aromas from the kitchen, baby started kicking with excitement! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is cozy and clean, and the food comes out hot! Definitely recommend chocolate gelato for dessert too! Thanks for such a wonderful dining experience and many more to come.
I decided to try this place for the first time tonight for my mom’s birthday. We ordered a pizza and the cannelloni. As everyone has said before, the pizza is just like me and others have had in New York- very crispy and thin with tasty sauce and great toppings to make it a perfectly authentic Italian pizza! 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The cannelloni was very flavorful too and the service was friendly and attentive. We also ordered the red velvet cake and tiramisu for dessert and both tasted very authentic and delicious. 👍🏻👍🏻 I will definitely be back to celebrate other special occasions in the future! 👍🏻👍🏻🤩🤩
WOW! Ordered a takeout lunch for 12 people and the delicious food was enjoyed by everyone.
Had a selection of yummy pasta, tasty salads and massive thin crust pizzas. Lots of compliments from my team.

My bf & I live close by and decided to try this last minute and the waiting time was good even though we walked in on a busy night. The food was AMAZING. Their fettuccine and lasagna was the best I’ve ever tasted! Definitely recommend this for a special night! It also has a quite romantic environment. Love this place! Even tho it’s a little expensive for me, it was still worth the price!
Every time I walk into this place it feels like I’ve been coming here for the past decade and the staff know who I am and are excited to see me. To clarify, they don’t, but even while greeting you from the kitchen they make you feel like you’ve just arrived at nonnas for Sunday dinner.
The food is unreal, portions are generous and their signature bread alone would be my last meal if I had to choose one. Best Italian I’ve had in Edmonton thus far.
Was too late for dining in. Ordered take out. The food was delicious - Spaghetti with Tomato sauce and a Tomato salad. There was no cutlery or napkins coming in the bags... as I had to eat in my car this was a challenge. Did you ever eat Italian food with Chopsticks? Was a first for me last night as this was the only cutlery I could find in my car. Will be back for dining in.
