Quite possibly one of the best dining experiences we've had over the last decade. Made a reservation (it was fairly packed when we arrived, only a few bare tables but likely also reserved), when we arrived there was complimentary valet parking (great touch). Our server was more on the silent/reserved side, but still excellent. We had a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us, chilled (fantastic, crisp). Started with the mussels & calamari. The mussels were tremendous (served with grilled bread), the calamari was decent however small. It needed something to make it pop a bit more! For mains we had Pollo Pizza and Mushroom Ravioli. The pizza was an awesome size, with some to take home (even with sharing), there was a delicious balsamic reduction drizzle and the dough was really tasty. But... the mushroom ravioli was a force to be reckoned with. It was intensely good. I would very strongly recommend this dish. Rich sauce, meaty ravioli, perfectly cooked pasta. Dessert was the sea salted chocolate truffles. These were perfect for sharing (comes with two) for a great price after a big meal. The chocolate truffle was a melt-in-the-mouth scenario with a dusting of cocoa and some marshmallow to go along with it. On top of all this we had a nice view right on the water - relaxing tempo, comfortable atmosphere, and staff that clearly knew what they were doing. Thank you for the ideal date night, Il Trullo!

Excellent food from beginning to the end; fabulous Chef!!! My only complaint is that we had a reservation for our group of 6 and would have liked to receive more attention from our waitress.

Beautiful view and nice atmosphere! It was worth the trip from Halifax. For starters we had Bruschetta and Risotto Balls, and for main we ordered steak and Lobster pasta, we enjoyed the food and the experience! Service was great the waitress suggested a mocktail for me and said I don’t have to pay for it if I didn’t like it, luckily it was tasty and I liked it. A place I would go to again if I had the chance to visit NS one more time!
