Celebrated my 18th birthday at The Gahan House today with my mother her boyfriend and my almost 3 month old daughter. We had a fantastic experience. Our waiter was lovely and did a great job! He was very friendly and checked up on us numerous times throughout the course. I loved my muscles and the fish and chips without a doubt were as good as always my mom loved them ! Her boyfriends poutine was made with wayy too much pepper... but our waiter was very nice and understanding about it and offered a replacement of the same dish or a new one. My moms boyfriend insisted it was fine and the waiter said if he changed his mind to call him back and he would be more then happy then fix the error he was fantastic about the situation! We ended up not getting charged for the plate just because he didn't eat it and with the dishes being large we ended up all sharing anyways. My birthday brownie was fantastic ! :) I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be back in the near future and highly recommend this restaurant. I been to the Gahan House numerous times but by far this was the best experience.
Decided to try their Donair Burger with their homemade fries and it was really delicious. The burger has (Hamburger Patty, Donair Meat, Tomato, Lettuce, Onions, Cheese and Donair Sauce) and their homemade fries has a seasoning to them. Everything was delicious I would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait till the on in Moncton opens. For the people that like beer, they brew their own and have multiple flavors (Overhear them saying there a Root Beer and a coffee flavor one and plenty more)
Delicious food, great service, and location close to the boardwalk downtown! A perfect stop for tourists cruising through. We ordered two flights of locally crafted beers and more, and enjoyed them on the beautiful patio.
Probably the best place in Charlottetown, amazing beer and the service was just PERFECT! Food was also very good. Just a little suggestion... please sell your beer glass... my wife was angry because the only way to get one is to steal it so... please :)
Outstanding food, atmosphere and service. Located in the historic Basilica district, we found this to be a great stop for dinner. Beef melt was savory, roasted potatoes were cooked just right and the spinach salad was very tasty. Presentation of dishes is what you’d expect from a much-higher priced restaurant. We took advantage of the balcony porch seating. If you can spare the calories, splurge on the lemon bar dessert. Highly recommend this stop for Charlottetown visitors.
The food was great (I had the fish and chips) and the service was outstanding. The server I had was fantastic, but so was everyone else I interacted with. Wednesday and Thursday evenings there's live music (obviously call to confirm), and they have a variety of happy hour types of specials too. The vibe inside the restaurant is lively too.
A very rustic, old school Irish pub. Tried the fish and chips which were good and huge (bigger than they appear in pictures!), though a bit too oily to consume in one sitting. I also tried the pretzel bites - the bites we're good and plentiful, but the cheese sauce left much to be desired.
Service was awesome. Blueberry beer was awesome and baked oysters were very flavourful. Fun atmosphere with live music.
We went on a rainy Tuesday and it was almost for ourselves.

Had the three cheers burger and fries. They were great filling and tasty. Had the Lawn Chair beer. Great. Great staff nice waiter (Ryan). There was a couple who got engaged 💍 in there this morning. The 2 guy with them cheered like crazy. They bought me a beer. They will make Great memories. Wish them the best going forward. Great place to do this also. Thanks for a great time.
