Great Food and Place. I ordered takeout on a Thursday night, and it was ready in half an hour. The noodles, ginger beef and egg rolls were hot, delicious, and easy on my wallet :) Decent portions, too. I'd recommend trying the pork chow mein noodles, they're my favorite.
Good Chinese. I love the consistency The Orient offers. I love the Sezchuan dishes...it's fast, hot and eat in or take out...it's been good for us.
Really Yummy. My family and I really enjoyed our experience at the orient. It was inexpensive, fast and grease-free. Our favorite items were the ginger fried beef, egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken balls.
Our first experience with this restaurant was excellent. We ordered the dinner for 4 and were delighted with the quality of the food. It was hot, flavourful and plentiful.

Delicious!!. The food was delicious! when I got the bill, I was very suprised at the low sum, a place I will definitely visit again.
Small, friendly, family-run restaurant. Pretty much your average Chinese food. Not greasy, though, which is a plus for me. They do takeout, eat in and delivery, although when I called delivery was only available after 8 pm that night.
Great food!!! If you want fine Chinese, check them out. Don't be discouraged by the dated exterior of the property. The owner and his wife are marvelous people!!! My first job out of high school was there and it taught me a lot about life. Believe me!
We live nearby and the Orient is a favorite. Every time I've picked up our order, the owner is always pleasant to talk with and the food is always yummy and goes well with our couch potato movie night :)
Nice location too - right at the Mill Bay Ferry and across from the Brentwood Bay Resort.

Really good food and reasonable pricing and it was my first time eating here and my dad enjoyed it here too for his first time and really good customer service
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have good food to eat and have someone brighten up your day and leave with a smile on your face.
