Loved everything about this place. Abby is such a friendly and fun person to hang out with. She will cook your crab (and crack it if you’d like) so you can take it home or eat it on the deck. We were the first people on the patio this season �. So worth the stop and we will definitely be back when we get back to this area.
Thanks Abby and staff for the amazing clams for our New Years dinner. They were delicious and the cooked crab was an awesome addition for an appy. Happy New Year and all the best in 2018!!!
I had called around Campbell River to find a reasonable hotel for 1 night prior to having surgery. The staff at the High Tide were the most polite in the phone and made sure that I had a quiet room. When I arrived for check in, the front desk manager was really funny and he definitely takes the responsibility of making sure his guests are comfortable. The room itself is nice, and very clean. The beds are quite comfortable and the sheets smell so nice, I’m going to ask what laundry detergent they use! The view from the rooms is a stunning ocean view. I recommend this place and I’ll definitely stay here again.
We went on a fishing charter in Campbell River and High Tide was recommended to use for processing our fish. They did a great job at portioning, suction sealing and freezing our salmon. I would give a 5/5 review but the lady at the counter has very poor customer service ability, she was harsh, impersonable, lacked direction or assistance. We could not get anywhere with our order until Elizabeth, another staff member, helped to guide the process. Elizabeth was wonderful & friendly.
Experiencing the flavours of what comes from a beautiful day of fishing, catching, Spring, Coho, Pink or Chum salmon. High Tide is able to turn it into a delicacy of flavours from Hot smoked either Cajun, Peppered, Natural, or Garlic Peppered. Cold smoked (Lox) can be just that or have it sliced into a perfect thickness for your charcuterie platters at Christmas time, or any type of celebration. High Tide can also make a candied salmon Garlic Peppered, Natural, or Peppered. Jerky Salmon is also a favourite. High tide will take your Halibut, any type of Cod, Tuna and of course Salmon and cut it into steaks or two people portions for your dinner. They take it and vacuum pack it and flash freeze it to assure that your fish is always fresh for when you’d like to enjoy it.
Expectations exceeded! Our salmon was perfectly prepared and packaged, then shipped to my door in Toronto, frozen solid, and on time.
.When we are lucky enough to visit our beautiful sister province British Columbia again, and fortunate enough to enjoy her magnificent wilderness fishing, it's great to know we can count on High Tide to send our catch home.

I have used High Tide Seafoods twice to process my salmon after fishing with Coastal Wilderness Adventures. Both times the salmon traveled as checked baggage on our flight home. After over 13 hours of travel the salmon has arrived frozen solid both times. The owner, Sandy, has been accommodating and was able to meet our travel schedule, with a quick turnaround. I plan to continue to use High Tides Seafoods for my salmon processing needs in the future.
We have been dealing with High Tide Seafoods for many years now as they have prepared our multiple day catch from our guide, Mark and they have always provided excellent service, accommodating tight schedules. Sandy is one of the kindest business owners we have ever met. We are grateful to have their service available to us.
On a road trip around Vancouver island with a family of four we were camping for the night after going out fishing. We had four salmon that together were too large to store in our ice chest. The young woman at high tide working in the evening was extremely kind and helpful. Really appreciate her help. Wish I had gotten her name. I would definitely use them again.
