I've been wanting to try Migarock for a while now and I'm very glad I had the chance to taste their cooking. First off, walking into this restaurant I was impressed by the interior decor (several nice booths and private dining rooms). Also, I noticed most of the tables filled up by 6:30pm with a lot of Koreans. That's usually the first good sign their food is good. We tried the dinner special for 2 ($59) which came with a set of side dishes (fresh seaweed, pickled turnip, kimchi, etc.), choice of meat (3 pc ribs) and a chicken rice bowl. We also ordered a Hot Stone Bowl Bulgogi which came as a soup. The side dishes were delicious and I really liked the kimchi here (not sure if they buy it or make it themselves). The ribs and chicken rice bowl were okay (Not much seasoning but I felt like this was on purpose). The Hot Stone Bowl Bulgogi was delicious (sweet soup). I don't usually have a lot of sugar but I couldn't stop eating it. The portions were generous (lots of meat in my soup) and the ingredients were very fresh. I'd recommend giving this place a try as they have lots of variety to chose from.
The food at the restaurant was delicious. We had bibimbap, spicy rice cakes, sweet and sour chicken and etcetera. The restaurant looks nice inside and there are places in the restaurant where you can get a bit of privacy with large groups. These private places have a sliding wooden door and a call button which is nice, when wanting to order food. There is no dessert at the restaurant, but they do serve alcohol. The restaurant is not an all-you-can-eat place, but there are BBQ combos to choose from to accommodate for this. The service was friendly and the food came in a timely fashion. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and the restaurant can accommodate large groups of people.
I heard from my friend that the management team has completely changed. Now i come here 5days in a week where i never come before after one time visit.
Great food and service.
