pretty good food and this place is very popular. we came here a lot and you will never get disappointed. Our friend's friend lives in downtown area and bought us to here. love this place
Good food here. Large variety of chinese food, mostly HK style though. Always very busy, but usually quick service and don't have to wait too long for a seat. Great place for quick bite or casual hangout.
Lots of Hong Kong cuisine to choose from. I always go with the dinner special but they keep changing it. The dinner special comes with a free hot drink (extra $1 for cold), choice of soup, and toast for around $15. I would recommend all dinner specials other than the seafood special.
If I come in on a day with the seafood dinner special, I get the baked pork rice instead which never disappoints.
Never a disappointment when you come to Calgary court! Service is extremely fast and friendly compared to a lot of other asian restaurants. I don’t think I’ve ever been unsatisfied with my meal here. They recently added a few things to their menu and I’m so excited about the build your own noodles!!! Such a great deal in my opinion.
My good friend introduced this place to me. And she influenced me to order CONGEE and I ask her I want fried tofu as accompaniment. The congee is serve super hot, since the pot itself is use to cook it. And the Tofu is pretty neat with onions and chopped chili on top, wow, my favorite. And the best thing that my friend endorsed to me is the chili garlic sauce of the restaurant. Its not spicy to be honest. It has a sweet taste, I'm not sure if its because of the tiny shrimp in it or they put brown sugar? that I don't know. Then the next time I went by myself, I ordered their combo meal that comes with rice, a choice of meat, soup of the day and choice of drink for a reasonable price.
They seem to serve western inspired Chinese dishes.
Love their Portuguese chicken. Only place I have been to that serves Chinese food of this kind.
Always busy and good food. Service is alright.
Located in the heart of Chinatown you'll find Calgary Court. Their menu is very extensive. They offer almost 50 different items ranging from your normal typical western foods (sandwiches, mushroom soup, spaghetti, etc) with a Chinese twist to your regular Chinese items. My selection last night was the seafood chow mein (came out sizzling hot with some serious crunch), and the sweet and sour beef (almost a tangy bbq sauce with a distinct candy flavor - it tasted like dessert). Overall I was impressed by the food, but the sweet and sour beef was a bit rubbery to chew like bubblegum. I would recommend you giving this place a try.
Hainan chicken was very tasty, if they use authentic Hainan chicken dipping sauce would be even better. Pho was ok. Gonna try their noodle wonton next time.
I come here quite frequently, mostly because I'm always by chinatown during lunch time and because it's one of the few places open at night. I think the food is really good, specifically the salt and pepper squid, chef's special congee and Cantonese fried egg noodles with assorted meat & vegetables. It gets loud no matter what time I go and it's always busy, doesn't bother me as much but just a heads up.
This is a Hong Kong style cafe in Chinatown which get super busy at lunch time. You need to get here before 1130 to get a table. You need to wave down the waitress to place your order because they are busy bring out orders, clearing tables and seating ppl. Food comes out fairly fast and they have lunch combo that comes with soup, entree and drink for $12. Pretty good deal. When you are done you go up to pay. Typical cafe style food, I like the baked spaghetti and baked Portuguese pork chop rice.
