Great place for lunch - it is a bit pricy vs. Sunterra but if you consider the quality of food, it's a bargain.
Unfortunately, bakery menus in general are quite disappointing including coffee. Unlike the food, I can't say they are of high quality.

I haven't been in for breakfast, but lunch is pretty reliable and they have a good variety. I like the selection on the salad bar, and the prices seem to be on par with other similar options downtown (e.g. Sunterra). The hot specials are generally quite tasty as well.  I am in love with the raspberry no-bake cheesecake from their grab & go section. Will continue to visit for lunch!

This places does some pretty good food! The breakfast burrito with egg and chorizo is absolutely amazing. The egg is so delicious. It's kind of like a giant, more delicious version of the one that Tim's was doing for a while.

I had a muffin from there this afternoon, but it was pretty unusual; it had bacon and even a quail's egg hidden inside it. Probably the poshest muffin I've ever had and it was very tasty indeed.

So far I've been really impressed by the food here.

The coffee is good too. Self service and lots of options!

I had the eggnog latte and the pineapple muffin.  The latte was really good and the muffin was super moist and just perfect.  I was a bit surprised that breakfast ended so early.  I had hoped to try the nutella and banana crepe.  I will definitely be back though.  The server was not all that friendly, she gave me an odd look when i asked about the crepes.

Today I had an interview and nearby was EAT!  My lovely friend Karen (@kmoments) is the pastry chef there and makes all them epic goodies!  I couldn’t wait to finally see her beautiful face again.  This place is fairly new.  It opened 3 months ago in June. I loved the decor and vibes once we walked in.  There was an area for fresh baked goods and coffee, another for hot foods, a salad bar, a panini wraps station, and a cooler at the front with pre packaged sandwiches and desserts in a cup (will get into that later).

I really liked the decor of this place when we first came in.  They have multiple stations of pastry/coffee, wraps and paninis, hot food, salad bar and also packaged take away food in the refrigerators at the front.  I love their salad bar.  It was full of fresh ingredients and there were a lot of choices for toppings.  From ham to chicken, beets, edamame, chick peas, all ready made wild rice chick pea salads, sweet potato salad and there was also a string bean salad.  We also tried the no bake raspberry cheesecake.... O M G... were the words that came out of both our mouths.  So good.  Light, soft and creamy.  Too good.  They had an abundance of baked goodies as well that I can't wait to try.  I also want to try out the hot food next time as well.

Stopped in for a quick looksee mid-afternoon to try out their coffee and was exceptionally impressed. It was nearly empty since the lunch rush had long past but there was still a number of options in the grab-and-go coolers as well as plenty of salads and pastries to choose from. I spotted a cutely packaged carrot cake (which happened to also be gluten free which I'm not in need of but I like finding great options for friends that must avoid the evil gluten) and I also ordered an Americano misto. Both were perfect to my palate. Carrot cake had not-too-sweet cream cheese icing between the layers, was delicious and the texture was great. The coffee was a good hot temperature, not burnt (which has been my personal experience a few go-to places lately, sadly) and had the right balance of Americano to steamed almond milk. After grabbing the coffee  from the barista station I noticed they also had a great selection of Adrian Martinus kitchen products. This made me so happy since I had only seen their stuff online and was instantly in complete love with it all in person. I'll definitely be back for grabbing a lunch and meeting downtown friends for a coffee break. Once I try more than just coffee and cake I'm sure my rating will shoot up to a solid 5 :)

The food is amazing, you can’t get better than that for $15. You pick and choose dishes and pay per weight. It is my new favorite lunch spot.

While exploring the +15 network of walkways in Calgary, we got hungry and decided to get some lunch. We found ourselves in front of this place just 15 minutes before they closed for lunch at 2:00 PM. The thing I liked very much was that I could mix and match whatever salad vegetables or ingredients I wanted and in the end they simply weigh it and you pay by weight. I had a very nice salad, the ingredients were very fresh and flavorful. Definitely recommend it for lunch!

Wow. We held a private corporate event at Eat on Thursday February 16th and were super impressed with the host Daniel and the EAT team's hospitality! Well Done :) The staff were so very friendly and accommodating and assisted the event seamlessly. Thank you!

I don't work downtown so it's a treat to stop by this place when I am in the area. Great food and fair price; the only thing I'd critique is if you arrive later in the afternoon the selection is pretty well picked over. That said, I think it's a testament to how good the food is and if you snooze you lose! Highly recommend eating here.

Excellent chicken salad sandwiches but they should ditch the plastic clam shells and wrap these in wax paper. They are fresh daily, so the wax paper is a good environmentally beneficial change that won’t hurt the quality of the sandwich.

This is one of my go - to lunch options. With so many different menu choices, you can hit the coffee bar for a cup of joe, have a freshly made sandwich from their deli and roasting area, pick an ethnic option from their daily menu or make your own salad from the salad bar. There are so many food choices here, you could even bring a pick eater and find a delicious meal.

The chef at the pasta stand made Alfredo to-order, and so he was able to do it without onions and pepper. No other restaurant in the core seems to be able to do that so thank you so much! This was my first hot lunch in forever.

New FAVORITE place for lunch - the food is excellent!! LUV that they have allergen free options for hot lunches. I'm wondering if they have GF sandwich options as well? :D

Lots of food choices, really good chai latte and interesting feature drinks at the coffee bar. Prepared or buffet style so you can have as much or as little as you want.

A little pricy at times, but usually pretty good food. Check their site for details on what the special is that day. Thier sandwiches have been the best thing to order overall, there is a porchetta sandwich that's pretty tasty.
