We ordered the Almond Chicken, Cantonese Chow Mein, and Wor won ton soup. All was tasty, not too salty, and arrived hot in about 35 minutes. We would order from here again. The only thing I found interesting was that the chow mein noodles were slightly thicker than other places. More like a ramen noodle kind of. I do prefer a thinner noodle but it was still good.
Not bad for Chinese take out. We tried them with Skip the Dishes. All the food came hot which was a pleasant surprise. We had Spring rolls, Shanghai beef noodles, salt and pepper squid and dumplings. The spring rolls were really good - light and flakey batter. Squid was ok in texture and flavour but a bit too salty. Noodles were good. Dumplings were just ok - I’ve had better and worse. The batter was a little thick. I would likely order again from Jolly Good.
Ordered take out from here tonight. Food was delicious and ready for pick up in 20 minutes! We ordered the ginger beef, mixed vegetable chow mein, diced chicken with cashews, and stir fry vegetables. Could have had a few more cashews in the cashew chicken but everything was great! We will order from here again.
Jolly Good is just good old Canadian Chinese take out. The food is delicious (I especially like the ginger beef) and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating of our friends vegetarian diet. Haven't tried any of their thai dishes so I can't speak to those, but all the cantonese ones we have tried have been excellent.
Jolly Good Indeed! :). We order from Jolly Good probably once a month, and sometimes (like this month) twice a month. The food is fantastic, delivery is free and fairly fast (food is usually at our door within 30-45 minutes) and the owners are super nice and friendly. Needless to say I'd recommend Jolly Good to anyone looking for some delicious Canadian Chinese/Thai food.
Super Jolly Good!!. I've ordered from this place a few times since moving to the neighborhood 9 months ago. Love it!! Food is always fresh and fast! The service is friendly and always helpful!! Overall an enjoyable experience.
Fantastic Hidden Chinese Food. Cant believe I missed this place living in the neighborhood , great food that is very fast and the owners take pride in what they make, been going here for a while now and cant really choose any other high end type of Chinese food for the price it offers. I recommend this place without thinking twice.From time to time they add a few extras without asking ;)
Great!! Will definitely eat here again!. Just finished eating our meal and needless too say, I am absolutely amazed on how great the food was! The mixed vegetables were fresh and had amazing flavour! And also the lemon chicken actually HAD REAL LEMON SAUCE!!! Not like Toi Shan (gag) who use yellow food colouring and fake lemon extract :/ I would add some cut green onions in the wonton soup just for added crunchiness, but other than that the food was great! We will definitely be ordering from here again! Also another suggestion, you should actually pick up the food and not get it delivered any good person knows it takes almost an hour for delivery :D just saying!!! It's why I call and pick up my food it usually takes up to 15-20 min!!!
