Kung Fu serves great food in large quantities at a reasonable price. We ate in. The restaurant is low key with simple furnishings. Our food was served promptly and our server took care of us throughout. Even the small wor won ton soup was huge. The fried rice was better than average, although it could have been a bit warmer. We had a dinner for two that I am still eating several days later. With the added "small" soup, we could have easily fed 3 people with large appetites. For those with a more moderate appetite, it would have fed 4 easily. But quantity is seldom good when it comes at the cost of quality. Such is not the case here. The ginger beef and sweet and sour chicken were both excellent.
This is a really great choice for casual Chinese food.

We did pick up and the food was ready very quickly. It was really good- the ginger beef was actually a bit hot which was nice. The steamed rice was really good- I believe it was jasmine rice. It was well priced and very yummy.
Best food in South Calgary we have found. We ask for no MSG and it is great. Only place I have found that does Sweet and Sour Fish, AWESOME!! I am getting for Xmas dinner I think.
First time here. Will be back. What a quaint area, makes me want to live in Silverado. Service (from whom I assumed was the owner...) was really good. Ordered the dinner for 2 switching out Sweet and Sour Pork for Chicken. Portions were huge. This could easily feed 4 people. Spring Rolls (and the sauce) tasted home made, unique curry flavour - I liked them . refreshing - Everything was good, Ginger Beef actually had some spice. Something that has been missing from most Ginger Beef we have eaten lately. One major downfall -MSG. We will be back to try other dishes but will def. request NO MSG. We could not eat our left overs, shame because there was LOTS.
Delicious!. We always order for delivery and to go. The food is delicious! Very good price for the quality and quantity of the food. The Restaurant looks very clean. People very kind.
Meh.... Food was good; but better food can be had for less $ at other places in the deep South. Service was average. Avoid the hot and sour soup -- it is neither hot nor sour.
Great portion sizes!. Had a late night craving for chinese and found this place. The guy on the phone quoted 30-45 minutes for delivery, but they arrived in 20 some minutes! Super quick! Ordered the dinner for 2 and we were incredibly surprised by the large portions. Everything was hot and tasty, great prices and quick. I would absolutely recommend Kungfu, and will be ordering again.
Wonderful food, excellent portion size, food always fresh and tasty. Great service too
Staff needs food service training. We ordered take-out food from this restaurant. While I was waiting for my order, I had time to observe the two front of house staff. They were both sniffling and wiping their noses with their finger/hand. They then proceeded to prepare drinks behind the counter for customers. The male server poured drinks and then carried them to a table, one glass was between his chest and left arm, the other were carried octopus style to the table, NOT on a tray. The food that we ordered was good, no complaints there. The salt and pepper squid wasn't rubbery, the chicken wasn't dry, overall the food was good. The FOH staff need food service training.
Amazing. Kungfu Restaurant has got to be one of the great Chinese restaurants in Calgary. Their Ginger Beef is to die for, their Sweet and Sour Pork is divine, their Shanghai Noodles are the best I've had in a long time! You can tell if a Chinese restaurant is good if they have good chicken fried rice, which Kungfu does!
People of Calgary ignore all the negative reviews and try it for yourself. Don't let other people tell you whether this place is good or not, find out for yourself. I promise that you will like it.
