For $10 dollars i received what i would consider possibly one of the best donairs in the city. It wasn't the biggest donair that i have had in terms of size , but as far as taste goes this place is no doubt one of the best. I went before the lunch rush so it was not too busy, but the owner was very friendly while i was there. He asked how my day was going and made sure the amount of toppings were to my liking. I definitely plan on going back when i get a chance and would recommend the donair to anyone in the area.

Food is good BUT. Since the 2 girls are not there anymore the service and quantities have dropped. About 2/3 or the meat you used to get.

Owner listens to his clients. There were portion issues before, but the owner has now re-evaluated the portions and is serving a great meal at a fair price.
Highly recommended.

Love it. I have been eating at that place for the past 2 years now and I am always impressed with the quality and consistency of the food at Shems. The food is authentic and service is great. I eat there 3 or 4 times a week . Their sandwiches are very tasty and filling, the portions are generous and you are definitely getting your money’s worth. Plus the restaurant is AMAZINGLY CLEAN
