In an effort to support our community businesses and find an affordable place to eat, my husband and I decided to try Tim's cafe. It's a tiny inconspicuous cafe in a small plaza. The first thing I always look for first and foremost is cleanliness. Passed with flying colours. Only a few tables so it is very quaint. Next in the line of eyesight is the counter filled with made from scratch cinnamon buns, delectable tarts and other mouth watering pastries. This is in the first 30 seconds. We were immediately greeted with a welcoming as though we were old friends. The menu is filled with a large variety of choices for any meal all with prices that won't empty the pocket book. We were there for breakfast but were told they serve a special chicken dinner only on Sundays. After seeing the price of the breakfast we weren't expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised. The breakfasts were cooked exactly as we like them, good portions, amazing price, fast and friendly service. All I can say is make room because we will certainly be regulars at this feels and tastes like home Cafe!
Best food, best people, best service, best cafe in Calgary! A small town cafe in the middle of the city.
Love this place! Has a 1960s feel. My gf and I go there to treat ourselves for brunch from time to time.try the pastries!
