We were in the neighbourhood this afternoon and popped in for a drink and appetizers. The service was very good and the sliders were delicious. We have never been here before but will be back.
New Menu and looking great. They just updated their menu and I have to say that it was a change for the great.. had their Lasagna and it was awesome. If you're a fan of Boston Pizza, then they have some competition. Great price and very generous with their portion and the amount of meat. When I was done, I still had a table spoon of meat and of course, the friendly staff behind it. Spoke to the manager, and he advised me that they switched their cooks. You have to come in and check out their new menu. You won't be disappointed.
Love the staff! Love the music! The food is revolting but considering this is one of Calgary's oldest live music bars who really cares about the food? A definite 80s vibe; a bit of a pub and a bit of a dive bar but 100% fun
Kings Head Rocks!. I usually just hang out at the Kings Head for the Live Music on the weekends, and occasional Thursday or Sunday, however they don't have music on Thursday or Sunday anymore (Big disapointment, as there is no where to go to see music), I did stop in on Monday to catch some of the football game. Awesome specials 0.30 Cent Wings during all Football Games! $5.00 Pizza and cheap cold beer perfect! Had a beer, 20 Wings and Personal Pizza, bill was less than 20 bucks plus tip... best money I ever spent anywhere else that would be double!
Service was slow as hell! It was worth it though for the 9 cent wings.
