I’ve lived in Calgary for 6 or so year and I haven’t found a nice home styled place for a bite until I found moms place. I really enjoyed the food and the servers were very nice and made us feel welcomed

Great food, great service, great prices. I’ve gone for the all day breakfast 3 or 4 times and always leave satisfied.
If you’re looking for fancy or uppity food...keep driving. But if you want some basic, solid, filling home cooked grub (ie: real food)...this is the place. Always clean and service is excellent.
Will definitely be going again and would recommend to anyone.
Good home cooked food with super prices. Have visited 5 times & all I've eaten here is breakfast because I really like it. Always great service & no big wait, even when they are busy. Likely the lowest cost for a full breakfast around & never a disappointment. Clean environment & gives a welcome feel. I highly recommend trying this spot.
I drive by here fairly frequently but it wasn't really on my radar until I looked for places that serve breakfast all day.
I decided to try it today around 1:00. Service was very fast and friendly. The prices are reasonable, I think I ordered one of the most expensive things on the menu which was the French Toast (3 Slices) for $7.95. I added sausages to that, with a Pepsi the total with tax came to $13.55.
There is nothing to say about the decor really, it's basic, with tables and a few booths and clean.
I would eat here again, from the little food I had I want to try other dishes, it was that good!
If you want good food at reasonable prices, this is the place to go. Service was very quick, staff was excellent as was the food. Don't expect anything fancy just good home cooking.
Foodies stay away. There are no confits, compotes, or infusion here. Just simple good food.
Went here this morning. Wife had Liver and Onions and I had bacon and eggs. Amazing service, seemed like we had two waitresses. Food was what you would expect, simple and great value. Restaurant could use an update on decor.
Surprisingly good. Spartan, but clean no frills service. Refreshingly honest, low brow food. We'd been to Cora's where bacon and eggs run $13 and walked out. Mom had two eggs and hash browns--pan fries--for $5.50. I had the 17 Ave burger for $8.75, the patty could have used more seasoning but with the egg and bacon it's a mouthful. The kid had boxed cereal and a juice box for $2.75. Total bill was under $20 with coffee and tip. The quality and quantity was as good as Cora or Smitty or Phils for less than half the price. No brainer.
Nice quiet family run restaurant !! Love it! Love the pork chops and the beef dip and next time can't wait to try the burger and the perogies!
Walked into this place randomly and was pleasantly surprised. Service was amazing - feels very homey and down to earth. The soup was great! Had that homemade comfort feel. And the meal is great value.
Deeelicious!. My first visit to Mom's Place and I'm absolutely delighted! My hubby and I came for breakfast and ordered bacon and eggs each with a side of sausage to share. The food came quickly, accurately, and portioned enough to make a happy full belly. The bacon was crisp and delicious, sausage was tasty and properly seasoned. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns were real potatoes nicely seasoned and crisped on the flat top. Toast choices actually included Multigrain too! All in all very satisfying. I would definitely come back. Especially at these prices.
Good eats. I've popped in here quite a few times after work. Sweet waitresses and actual real food. No MSG, no additives or preservatives, they let me see the kitchen! I love the omelettes, the portion sizes are awesome and I always leave filled up.
Would recommend this place for a budget concious pig-session.

MY HUSBAND AND I OWN A MECHANIC SHOP ONE BLOCK AWAY...WE REGULARLY ORDER BREAKFAST FOR PICK-UP AND WE SUGGEST "MOM'S PLACE" TO OUR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY ARE HUNGRY WHILE THEY ARE WAITING FOR THEIR CAR...ALL OF US ARE ALWAYS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE FOOD, NICE PORTIONS AND THE PRICE. YOU'VE GOT TO TRY IT!
Love Mom's! Great food. Great price. Always love the atmosphere here. Food is always like having a comforting, home cooked meal. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Great coffee too!
What a lovely place! No other way to describe it then literally feeling like you're in your mom's kitchen. Food is under priced for what you get, absolutely delicious. Had the pleasure of meeting "mom" and she's delightful and a fun spunky energy to her. Love this place, you gotta go people!
My fiancee and I have eaten here multiple times after discovering it will be back many more times. The food is delicious and homey and priced extremely reasonably. Fresh food at an awesome price and the service is just as good.

This is the best family restaurant. The staff are all very friendly and always ready with coffee or anything else you may need. The food is awesome, it takes me back to my childhood and I just can't put into words how delicious the menu really is. If you like home cooked meals and a coffee cup that is always full this the place to eat. Please eat here you will love it too.
