Good service excellent food...music a bit loud
Wow! Absolutely fabulous dining! I was there with a large group. The room beautiful and warm. The wine was endless and at the end of the night they recorked the unfinished bottles and gave them to us to take home. Each course was out of this world! You just have to find the right occasion to try it out.
Ordered the vietlla tonnato and the calamari. Both were delicious! Main course we got risotto and linguine nero. Again, they tasted great! The servers were good as well.
Great experience! The food and service were excellent. The building was very clean. For being such a large open space, it was very intimate and comfortable.
It's a very special place with European style architecture and decor. It looks upscale but prices are not too bad especially if you are not a big drinker or eater :) It's a good thing that they offer two different size of paste, so that you can have more courses. Potato soup with pecan and leek is tasty and creative. Orecchietta with asparagus/mushroom and Spagettoni? carbonara are both quite rich. Spagettoni carbonara would be better without parmigiano cheese on the top in my opinion as it’s rich enough. Sometimes I think they put too much efforts instead of respect the original Italian recipe though. Carrot soup is special with some sourness , which is quite appetite opening, haha. Food were presented nicely and service was pleasant. It's a good place for a fine date or anniversary in my opinion.
Great ambiance. Great building. Feels like you've stepped out of Calgary for a couple of hours. Staff is knowledgable, menu is delightful, and the wine list is great. Will definitely be going back!!
We had a amazing experience at Teatro! Being in an old Toronto Dominion bank, the venue, decor and ambiance are all awesome. The service was perfect and the food was delicious. We ordered the Salmone, Ricotta Gnocchi, Pollo, Papardelle, and also had 2 desserts. I definitely recommend this place for a special occasion or if you are looking to really impress someone :)
Highly recommended place for those who like a quality kitchen. The service is impeccable and it is the coolest heritage restaurant building in Calgary, it's worth just admiring the architecture once inside. The portions are on the small side, but they know it and so should you before you go.
Recently went before the Theatre I had the Gnochi, my friend had the Maiale, pork chop Both were excellent. Highly recommend either of them.

I visited Teatro for its $25 weekday lunch. I enjoyed the ultra-attentive service and beautiful dishes, but the food just didn’t really wow me. Having said that, its express lunch menu will sure please anyone who is looking for fine dining experience at a reasonable price. Though I must warn you that the portion size for set lunch is quite small.
What an absolutely perfect experience for my birthday dinner. We has the tasting menu and I highly recommend giving it a go. We have specific dietary needs and the chef was able to rejig the options immediately. Staff and servers were attentive, super approachable and anticipated everything we wanted and needed before we asked. Interior is beautiful and on a summers evening the doors are open. With a delightful glass of wine and someone special to share your evening with you can't go wrong
Beautiful place for a nice dinner. I emailed in advance and they were thankfully able to accommodate a plant-based dish (it was very small and not filling but still good). Our waiter was personable and friendly. Would recommend, make sure you make a reservation
First time in Teatro was really nice. The ambiance of the place is definitely lively and wonderful. Loved most of the food especially the desserts. I really didn’t like the stuffed hen but overall the other components of the dish was nice.

The waitress was super nice. All dishes were tasty and had a unique taste and combinations. The lights were dim to add the romantic vibe 😊. I couldn’t take more pictures for all dishes. Highly recommend
I’ve walked pass this place a thousand times without knowing it was a hidden gem!!! This Italian restaurant is literally EXCELLANTO!!. They accommodated our walk in 1hr 20mins before closing and we still got our appetizer and main dish served on time. The servers were the sweetest of hearts and they made our time there very welcoming and stress free. I tried the grilled octopus and wow!!! Their pastas are 😋😋😋😋. Don’t just take my word for it, go try some!!!!!!!
The food was fabulous. It was flavourful and better than my expectation. Charcuterie, our starter dish was very interesting with unfamiliar tastes we arent used to. Personally I wouldn't try it again. We ordered Teatro lasagna, scallops & Berkshire pork belly, and Carne. All of the main dishes were highly above average and my personal favourite was the Carne. We ordered Tiramisu, Ube cheesecake, and Holy cow sorbetto in Strawberry & Basil flavour. Tiramisu was decent but the ube cheesecake was very mid I was expecting a very tart flavour but it wasnt tart at all with not much flavour. The sorbet had a strawberry and banana smoothie taste, not what i was expecting. But overall experience was great and will definitely be back!
Everything was absolutely delicious! The ravioli was FANTASTIC. I didn't know pasta could literally melt in your mouth.
Michelle was also AMAZING!!! She took the time to get to know us, bond over our love for kitties, and she was attentive. Big thumbs up!!! 😊 We will definitely be back!
Teatro has been a special restaurant for our family for years! It’s such a treat everytime we go there. The staff is wonderful and the food is incredible. The Seafood lasagna makes me forget steak exists sometimes hahaha and the eggplant appetizer is soooo good!
