Starlite is a good inexpensive family restaurant. Don’t expect shishi food here. If you want shishi then go somewhere else. This is s family friendly place. They have good pizza. I liked my veal parm. We’ll be back.

Starlite is good, if you’re in the mood for greasy, redneck, diner style “Italian”. Frankly this is about as far from authentic Italian as you can get, but it’s still good. Especially if greasy non-authentic Italian is what you’re looking for. The pizza is delicious, thick, and, of course, greasy. Yum. Service is great but the decor is older than I am. Enjoy!
Swung by here a couple days ago with a couple buddies for lunch. Definitely and older style diner place, but the food was awesome. Had a chicken caesar salad which was really good, you could tell it was homemade dressings. But the best part of the meal......The French Onion Soup, so cheesy and flavourful, one of the best I've ever had.
Stumbled upon this place in this strip mall Amazing pizza, very good service. Will definitely come back again for one of the best pizza in Calgary. Also have amazing lasagna and great neighbourhood bar to have some pints!
I was in Ikea and afterwards I wanted some good food. I haven't eaten many places in this area and after checking online I decided on Starlite. I ordered the lasagna and my girlfriend ordered seafood canelloni and we got cheese toast to start. I love cheese toast, but I often stray away due to it being overpriced. It was cheaper here than most places and let me tell you, though I have never used drugs that cheese toast was addictive like I would assume drugs were. The lasagna was hearty and had the subtle comforting flavor you would expect from a lasagna. My girlfriend loved the seafood cannelloni. Overall the restaurant was great and exceeded my expectations. I will return again if I am in the area.

The beer is ice cold and the service is great!

Good and simple. I have been coming here since I was a teenager with my parents. The food is simple but delicious and the price is right. Don't expect a gourmet meal or anything but the pizza and veal cutlets are soo good. I also think they have the best garlic bread in the city, I could eat baskets of it to myself. If you have a family and you want to be in a relaxed environment come here, it's good :)
First time at Starlite, not the last. We went to Starlite for the first time tonight and were very pleased. Great place for families with kids of all ages (we have a 3 year old and a one year old). All of the food was excellent, portions were plentiful, and the prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent and very friendly. We loved the experience, will definitely be back and we highly recommend Starlite.
Very good!. Just ate here with my girlfriend, had the garlic bread basket, deep fried zucchini and split a pizza. Food was delicious, some of the best pizza I've had in the city. Waiter was very polite and did a great job. Will be coming back for sure. Highly recommend this place!
Good pasta. Place looked a little sketchy, but we had a friend who recommended it for Lasagne. We tried it out and were very pleasantly surprised. The Caesar Salad was good too. as for the poor review earlier mentioning wine and crabcakes.... I dont know why someone would go into a hole in the wall tavern and expect the waiter to know everything about the wine served in the place. I also dont know why you would go into a pizza and pasta joint and expect good seafood. pretty silly I think. anyhow, we were happy and will return.
