I like you so much Tim's, please don't go away from SFU. Also, please bring your blessed iced coffee to this mountain!! The iced capp is great, but we need just iced coffee sometimes.
Timmy's here opened back in 2011, so it's fairly new (if I recall correctly). I usually come here only when I have class over at West Mall, otherwise I just eat in the AQ. The cashiers are nice, and this place usually gets pretty busy right after class, but the lines move fast and they make the food quick as well. I love their soup. Their chicken noodle is my comfort food. Their coffee is pretty cheap too if you just need an extra large caffeine boost. Oh, and their breakfast menu are fairly cheap.
Only place on campus that has off campus prices. Your standard Timmy Ho's, long lines, slow service but ultra low prices. Be prepared to wait 10 minutes if you ordered food.
Good Food, Bad Serivce. I was volunteering for a SFU summer camp for a whole week and I spent every lunch time at the Tims there. I always ordered an ice cap and a sandwich that was toasted on white bread.
So, as I'm ordering, I order a Chicken Salad Sandwich and I expect her to ask if I would like it toasted and on white or whole wheat bread. After a moment of silence, she uses a voice that sounds like she's mad at me and says "You can expect me to always ask for these things, you need to tell me these things on your own" Immediately I'm offended. How can she expect for me to know everything? What if I were a first time guest at Tims?
I would go back, but hopefully the service will be better
Fast and efficient. I love tim hortons. this location at SFU is very fast-paced, well organized, and systematic in their service. there is always a long line up, but servers are very quick in ordering and making food. their Steeped Tea keeps me awake throughout the day and through my classes
