The restaurant itself is spacious – although it wasn’t very busy on either of my previous two visits. Since my visit was during December, I asked for some green tea to warm up ($0.99). Their green tea is a bit different as it’s infused with saffron and cardamon. On my first visit, I ordered the Qabeli Pallow ($11.99) which had a large serving of Afghani Rice topped with lamb, fried carrots, and raisins and served with salad and chatni (chutney). The two bone-in pieces of lamb were pretty good but there were a few parts that were drier than the rest. The chutney sauce wasn’t too spicy and is milder than Indian chutney.
