Came here late (about 30 mins before closing) and was famished after not eating much all day. Ordered my standard of salmon sashimi, spicy tuna roll, rainbow roll, and a chicken udon.
Considering they were so close to closing, food came to me lightning fast and they left me to chow down. Salmon was beautiful and pieces were ginormous. Spicy tuna was barely spicy. Loved the topping on the rainbow roll and the plate presentation with the scallop shell. Udon was also delicious. No complaints at all!
Total bill was $37 including tax. Absolutely yummy. Would definitely come back again.
Order Queen's Roll, Unagi Roll and Chicken Karaage. One of the best decisions you'll ever make. The chicken karaage was okay but good portion for the price.
We haven’t been to Kiku for the longest time and the last time we’ve been here was well over 3 years ago! (Previous visits can be read about here and here). It’s not that we had a bad visit the first couple of times or anything but there are literally too many Japanese options in Vancouver that it’s rare for us to frequent one “go-to” spot.
Kiku Sushi (隱藏於小商場裡的日本壽司店)
Kiku Sushi是一間很容易被忽略的日本壽司店，因它位於本拿比市Kingsway上一個不起眼的小商場London Plaza内。壽司店原本是由韓國人主理，出品一般而已，其後轉讓給華人經營，由老闆以至壽司師傅和服務生都會講流利的國粵語！更換華人經營後壽司店的食物品質大為改進，讓附近居住或工作的人士多了一家好吃的日本料理店可以選擇。此外這裡的大型收費露天停車場泊車十分方便，而光顧的食客只要憑泊車收據即獲店家回饋停車費 (停車場每天晚上6時後完全免費)
餐館的地方不大，約能容納 60人左右，但即使店鋪坐得滿滿的，用餐時還是覺得很舒適及不嘈吵，因爲Kiku Sushi的座位設計很特別，燈光不但給人溫馨柔和的氣氛，更因爲每張餐桌卡座都由較高的屏障分隔，讓用餐的顧客都能擁有自己半私人的空間，即使店鋪坐得滿滿也不會受到其它食客所影響！這家店我前前後後已光顧過多次，我對店家的魚生和壽司都非常滿意，這裡的魚生除了新鮮和超大件外，壽司飯也超好吃，還有不少創新的特色壽司卷可以嚐到呢！
Beef Udon $8.50 (3.5/5分)
Katsu Don $8.95 ~ 飯量超多，材料也非常充實，只是醬汁略為過甜 (3.5/5分)
Assorted Sashimi (Deluxe 26 pcs) $29.95 ~ 分兩款份量和價錢，小的一款為$19.95，但只有16件魚生 (4/5分)
I learnt something new today I did not know this place was here (open my eyes) met up with a couple of customers for lunch. I ordered the volcano roll which was not spicy but very tasty,i would definitely recommend this place. pricing was good,service was good.
WINTER DYNAMITE ROLL! Really delicious and flavourful! Just one thing I don't like is the service, because most of waitresses don't pay attention for customers and sometimes they are rude. However the owner is always there and he is really friendly!!!
Fresh food, good portion & price. My family and i often order take out from kiku... food is fresh, portion is good, price is decent..

Pretty Impressive. I learned about this restaurant from the social shopper promotion.
The location is very hard to find. It is hidden in the London Drugs plaza.
The service was fair. Crystal, one of the waitresses, allowed me to use 2 coupons for 4 people (each for 2 people) which most other restaurants do. We did not make reservation but we were seated pretty fast upon arrival right after 5 pm. The waitresses came around for tea and service pretty often.
The food was impressive. The sashimis were fresh and huge. The sushis were amazingly decorated. Crystal recommended us their winter rolls. They are very special and surprisingly good. They also have a lot of varieties for people who do not like sushi.
The price is fair. A special roll is about $8-9.
Always fantastic sushi. Haven't been here (kiku sushi) for a long time, miss my two most favorite dishes here very much--winter California roll and tuna oil tataki,because I can't have this two dishes at other Japanese restaurant in metro Vancouver. Today, as usual, we oder four dishes:winter California roll , tuna oil tataki, chicken teriyaki and assorted sashimi. No need to mention, my most favorite two dishes are always fantastic, and the chicken teriyaki is better than before because the teriyaki sauce is more delicious than before, I think maybe they had changed their kitchen chef now.the sashimi is very fresh, especially the salmon, that's awesome! No wonder more and more customers come here now, it is much busier than before. I like this restaurant, they make the food with their heart.
Yummy sushi. Recommended by friends, not disappointed me at all. a bit surprise too. sashimi is so good, rolls are also excellent. recommend u the oil teriyaki tuna, you will love it!
