ARISU Authentic Korean BBQ was a great place. You can get a pretty authentic Korean dining experience as you grill your own meal here. We tried non-Marinated Kalbi Short Rib 牛仔骨 and Pork Jowl 豬頸肉. The meats were all quality cuts and the meats were tender. The food presentation was beautiful.

We also tried their signature cocktail with Korean popsicle (Melonchee Cocktail). It was delicious! The atmosphere was very Korean and pleasant.

The food is amazing but the portions could be kinda bigger for the price that we are paying

After a brutal week, M, C&C took me to Arisu along North Road for some much needed food and drinks. This is one of the many Korean BBQ restaurants along the Burnaby and Coquitlam border, which has now become a high traffic area. Transit if you can... We had one of the BBQ combos, which came with a pile of meat, including pork belly and short rib:
The quality of the meat is really good (we ordered pork and beef tongue), probably some of the best bbq we have had in town. Yes, it is expensive, but you pay for the quality. We also ordered the cold noodles, which were delicious as well. We only wish they gave more lettuce, but the trio of sauces made up for it. We would recommend.
Really enjoyed this place. Had the Arisu Combo A and Japchae. The only issue I had was the staff coming around and trying to cook the meat on the grill for us, I didn't see them do it for anyone else and assume it was because no one in my party looked Asian though many of us have lived in Asia. We kept asking them to stop, it was the only frustration of the night. Otherwise the meat was delicious, flavorful and tender. The sides and sauces were perfectly complimentary. The japchae was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Delicious and strongly recommended.

I had the premium combo and the marbling of the beef was just great.
Also the side dishes with salad was top of the quality comparing to nearby restaurant.
Service was prompt and had fun cooking my own meat. Will comeback for sure!!
Came to the place for a quick lunch, service is good but not quick at all, food was delicious, we ordered pork belly and two kinds of beef short ribs, the meat r all very fresh and tender. We definitely will go back to try some other kind of meat
Went here for my mom's birthday and it was a really good experience the servers were very friendly and price was not that expesive, overall bill I was expecting over $200 for 8 people but when I looked at the bill it didn't even reached $200. The price rage is very good, although their food is still delicious but just in the average range for me not something very unique in taste. I will definitely still comeback with my family for dinners
