Hidden gem by Edmonds community centre. The best Thai restaurant in the neighborhood as of yet! The sweet Thai owner will chat you up and recommend you great pairings and you will not regret it! The pad Thai is the best my bf said he's had. Don't skip the green curry too!
This is our favourite Thai restaurant. The servers are incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious. The dishes flavourful without being heavy. We've been there a few times, and they've never disappointed.
Very cozy place located in Edmonds Area. Has a homey ambiance. Food was great. I ordered the Red Curry Chicken, my food tester for Thai restaurants I visit. Vegetables were plenty and so was the chicken. Not bad for the price. I also had the Thai Ice Tea was great not too sweet. Quality of service is not equipped to handle busy times unfortunately. But they are pleasant and friendly.
Definitely one of the better Thai places I’ve been to in a long time. The waitress was incredibly friendly and adorable, I wanted her to sit down and eat with us. I ordered one of their pork pad thai lunch specials which came with this amazing coconut soup, that I could have easily eaten like six bowls of. The described their lunch special as medium sized but when I actually got my food I was blown away by how large their portions were, so I can’t imagine how much food you get when you order a regular meal. We also got some chicken spring rolls to share between two of us, which came with four spring rolls that were huge and delicious. I would definitely go there again and try out some different things on their menu, hopefully the amazing waitress is there again!
IThai Best Thai Around Edmonds. I have eaten at Lhy Thai and Days Thai many many times. They are both good in their own way, but iThai is the best Thai in the neighbourhood. Less rustic than Lhy and less cafeteria like than Days, iThai hits the right note. The service is quiet and polite but that is just fine with me. I don't need a floor show with my meal. There is a quiet peace in the room and the sense that the owners care. One word of warning, the restaurant's neighbour to the East is a parking fascist and will sometimes yell at you if you have the audacity to park directly in front of the restaurant: he seems to think its his personal loading zone. The owners of iThai are embarrassed by this but just ignore it for their sakes and try this restaurant.
Awesome Thai food, great service and very clean and inviting. We started going to Lhy Thai when we moved to the neighbourhood but quickly found iThai has much better food, portions, ambience and service. I believe it is new so it isn't overcrowded yet. Definitely still a hidden gem! I almost didn't want to write this review for fear that once it is discovered it will be hard to get in, but they are too good not to share! We have been coming here regularly once a week and always have a wonderful experience.
Cozy and delish. This cute little restaurant is quite good with a lot of parking. The service was very attentive. Food wise, we started with the lettuce wrap, tom yang goong and satay chicken. I didn't enjoy the lettuce wrap, but the tom yang goong and satay chicken was yummy. Then we shared cashew chicken and pad thai. The cashew chicken was good, but the pad thai was to die for.
The restaurant is very clean and staff is attentive. Food is quite tasty with nice presentation; loved the pad thai and red curry! Will definitely go back.
AMAZING !!. I just moved from Mount Pleasant back to Burnaby , but new to the Edmonds area. So I had to start from scratch and find a Sushi and Thai restaurant. I found this place on line and read the reviews....I compared it with Lhy Thai....and iThai received better reviews hands down. My partner and I went in and were pleasantly greeted and given a table by the window. The decor was beautiful and the place was clean. The food was delicious...I have a Thai friend who makes everything from scratch and I've been to Thailand , so I know what tastes good and what doesn't.
We ordered two dishes, plus the Thai iced tea and out bill came to around $18.00 after taxes.
I think I have found my new Thai restaurant.
Nice new spot in Edmonds. I would say most of the dishes we tried were just so-so, except for the green curry which really was delicious! : ) Dining area is warm and comfortable although a tad tight.
This is our go to Thai restaurant. Family own and run. Very friendly owners. Great food and good prices. Not a lot of tables. If you have a bigger group, best to call and make reservation ahead of time. They don’t have a huge menu. We sort of ordered same food. Pad Thai is very good here. Glad to see them surviving in this up and coming neighborhood. I believe they will be very busy once some of the high rise condos near by got finished and being moving into. I sure will enjoy it now before this area got too busy to visit.
Very "healthy" in a way nothing is overly salty, instead I find everything to be somewhat bland, even their green curry. The spring roll was very delicious and the dipping sauce was interesting, in a good way. I would recommend this place.
Great price + a complimentary soup during lunch time! Clean space and friendly staff. I feel very thirsty after though.
We love it here! Fantastic tasting food and friendly accommodating hosts. The coconut rice is cooked to perfection, almost like my grandma's rice pudding! Just the type of restaurants our neighborhoods need!
