This is a hidden gem for sure. I cannot wait to go back! I enjoyed the Lamb Rojanjosh with basmati rice and garlic naan. The dessert of Rashmalai was heavenly. My sister and nephew took me there for my birthday and our waiter brought me a sweet dessert with a candle in it. That was a very special touch. The service was excellent, friendly and this was the best meal I have had out in Brantford in a long time!!! Compliments to the chef also...an excellent meal!
The food here is simply amazing. The chicken pakora, the tikka chicken masala, the garlic naan even the samosas we're perfect. Whoever is cooking in the kitchen has a true grasp of East Indian food making. The tamarind sauce is the best I've ever had. And I've had alot. Aloo gobi and aloo plates are bomb. And they even have a vegan menu. How can you go wrong ? You can't. This place is a win. Will visit again when I'm back in Brantford.
Its so hard to find a restaurant that caters to both the vegan and meat eater but the Everest Grill has done that very well.We had never been there and decided to give it a try.....so glad we did, such good Indian food...all 4 of us were so happy with our meals, naan was fresh, as was all our dishes. We will be going back again often.
FOOD:
My mother and I had come here on a Wednesday afternoon at around 11:45 am for lunch. I had settled on the Meat Samosa ($1.25) as a starter, while my mother and I had both settled on the Butter Chicken ($11.99/Each) for our main dishes. I had chosen to have the butter chicken with naan, while my mother had settled on having it with rice. We had received the meat samosa first, which we found to be very delicious; quite large, with a load of ground beef on the inside, with a crispy shell on the outside. It also came with a sweet dipping sauce which tasted divine when dipped, making the samosa itself taste even more appetizing. Definitely a great way to start-off the meal!
Then, we had received our butter chicken dishes. I thought that the naan was quite delicious however, there were only three pieces, and some of them were a tad too crunchy, and not too warm. In terms of the butter chicken, I enjoyed how creamy it was, making it taste delicious when dipping the naan in, or pouring it on top of the rice. We did find some of the chicken pieces to be a bit dry as they were quite large however, we still found the taste to be very edible, and enjoyed every bite. It was very filling, and I didn't have to eat for many hours afterwards. We were impressed with how much thought went into making the meals taste and look great!
ATMOSPHERE:
When we had looked at this restaurant on the outside, it didn't look very appealing to the eye. However, once we were inside, we were impressed with how well-decorated everything looked, with bright wallpaper, beautiful decor, and comfortable booths/tables for us to dine at. We found that the restaurant was quite large, enough to accomodate a large party. There was also a bar at the front entrance, where guests could sit and eat their lunch while having a drink. The temperature was comfortable, and the ambiance was very relaxing, making us feel comfortable as we dined.
SERVICE:
When we had first arrived, we noticed the sign that asked us to seat ourselves. Once we had sat down at a booth, we were given some time to look at the menus on the table, then our server, a kind younger gentleman, came over to take our orders. He was soft-spoken, and made us feel comfortable by allowing us to take our time in asking questions about the lunch specials. He came around to ask us how the meal was as we were dining, and told us that we could pay for our bill at the front where the bar was located. We noticed that he was the only server on the floor, which made us admire his work hard even more, as there were about eight tables filled with guests at the time.
COST:
1 Meat Samosa: $1.25 + 2 Butter Chicken Meals (1 With Naan, 1 With Rice): $23.98 ($11.99 Each): $25.23 + Tax = $28.51
WOULD YOU RETURN?

Went here for the first time as my son loves the food there, it was really good.. love Indian food and their garlic Naan is better tasting as well as the dishes we had that another local Indian restaraunt in town here. I will go back again.
Excellent ... Follow up to a previous review -- exceptional take out and menu ordering .. Excellent food -- great lunch deals ... I didn't enjoy the buffet but I'm not certain they still do that
I like to order off the menu not the buffet. They did tell me the buffet was geared more to 'Canadians' who didn't like all the spice. Order from the menu and you will be pleasantly surprised. My friend grew up in India and she claims this is more Indian to her than the other Indian restaurants. Love this place. Quiet, clean and lots of seating room.
It is the best restaurant in brantford, which I have visited.Tasty dishes, clean and good service.I will give 5/5 for this restaurant. Its not crowded and its good place to visit.
Best butter chicken and chicken tandoori I've ever had!! Our server was courteous and attentive. We'll definitely be back and try different varieties!
Amazing Indian good! Great flavours, good heat if you want it and fantastic food served piping hot! Best Indian food in Brantford (and I have tried all)!
Tried it yesterday and it was pretty good and clean.
Had a chance to try the butter chicken, karai paneer, biryani and tikka masala along with butter naan and potato naan.
I loved the most the ginger kick in the Tikka masala, the sauce was balanced very well.
Biryani came with yogurt sauce, all dishes taste delicious and you can tell that the quality of ingredients is not compromised.
The chef there has to get promoted.
I really am looking forward to try all other dishes.
We haven’t even left the restaurant or even better, finished eating our meal and everything is so AMAZING I had to write a review. The food here is comparable to fireworks in our mouths. The flavours are so plentiful they are exploding with the most spectacular experiences…..if that even makes sense. The staff are incredibly hospitable and friendly we have already planned to return, know what we are ordering and know this will be a regular place we order from for our date nights in. If you haven’t been here or if you haven’t tried Indian cuisine this is the spot to come!!! I’d give 10 stars if that were an option.
A truly family owned restaurant. The place had a casual friendly vibe where families could eat good food in peace. They had a wide variety of options, both vegetarian and non-veg. The menu also featured lots of alcoholic beverages if so desired. The owner added a personal touch. Food was okay, nothing great but good to have when you drive down a small town and are looking for comfort Indian food. I have to especially mention the dessert for being wrong though. Hot gulab jamuns are different from cold ones and they offered the hot ones on the menu but didn't have the right dessert available; they just heated up regular coconut gulab jamuns in the microwave or something and brought them out. They weren't even properly hot and didn't have enough flavour so i'm guessing, they were old and hard. Other than that it's a good place.
I have been here a few times and each time I am thoroughly satisfied. The food is hot and fresh, and so full of flavour. I have tried only a few of the menu items but my favourite still is the butter chicken and samosas. Thank you for making the dining experience so great!
This is an absolute gem! We’ve ordered here and dined in numerous times over the past 5 years and it is always top quality and delicious. We are so grateful this restaurant is close to home, but we would travel out of town to eat here!

Amazing food!
It doesn't look like a lot, but neither my companion nor myself could finish!
The spice blends are White person friendly, so don't be afraid to try any dish. The chef is more than competent, and the server will ask what your spice tolerance is (middling spicy with a bit of a bite would be medium, imo).
I had the sweet lassi, companion had the mango. Very good - helps manage any unexpected spicy burn.
Parking is okay, no WiFi that I'm aware of, but I didn't ask.
Overall, I highly recommend the food & drinks.
We went Everest grill first time and we Oder chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken with garlic nan food was amazing and there was less staff everybody busy and chef served food our table this was amazing 100% completely to chef…….
We will definitely visit again for this amazing experience
