I stopped for Brunch on Sunday with my dad. Yay! breakfast is served until 3 pm every day.
The eggs benny was delicious (best hollandaise in Squamish for sure) and the organic eggs were amazing. My dad had the regular size Pastrami hash with two poached eggs and we have never seen such a beautiful mixture of veggies! My only dislike was the hasbrowns. They were typical restaurant fare, square pieces of deep fried potato that were very dry but no matter since I never eat many of them anyways. I will be coming back soon and I highly recommend this place! Our waitress was great too!
found this little gem yesterday as we were exploring the area. They were slammed when we arrived and the waitress said the wait for food would be abit. Neverless we stayed and am glad we did. The food was amazing. And while both waitresses were really busy, we got everything we needed quickly and with a friendly attitude.
I am not normally a "breakfast" kinda girl, but the smoked salmon bennies were amazing. Everything was so fresh and well presented.
We will be back. Its worth the drive from Vancouver
I went with my daughter to The Crabapple Cafe for a late Mother's Day lunch. This was our first time here and we were delighted to see the variety on the menu. We were each pleased with our breakfast choices and also enjoyed our London Fog tea. I highly recommend The Crabapple Cafe for its food and excellent service!
Must stop by this place, a bit of a whole in the wall, but wow the food is fantastic. I had the Chicken Club burger with the soup of the day(Indian Dal) and it was a lot of food. The chicken was tender, the bun was soft and the ingredients inside fresh and tasty. The best chicken burger I've ever had. The soup was in a large bowl, tasty. I've never tried Indian Dal Soup before and it was fantastic, lentil, chick peas and cauliflower and flavour. My husband had the 1/3lb. Beef Burger and fries and said it was amazing and he liked the fresh/cold veggies inside. The root beer was authentic and you could taste the vanilla and my Earl Grey tea was loose leaf and delicious. The price was right on with what other places charge and I think I got more food than some comparable places. There is plenty of parking. Most of the staff was very friendly, our waitress could have been a little friendlier and more attentive, but the food was so fantastic and most of the staff was great, that it wouldn't stop me from coming back or recommending this place to family and friends.
The two of us came here for lunch on a weekday at the end of September.
We had curried chickpea soup (gluten and dairy free)(7$ for large portion) Chiefs salad (11$) and thai red curry ("crazy" spicy) (16$). All 3 meals were huge portions, I wanted soup and salad with my boyfriend having a taste and I had to pack the salad to go. Everything tasted super fresh and came to our table relatively quickly. The Thai lunch was amazing but wasn't very spicy for it being their spiciest option. Their soup-of-the-day was very hearty, filled with veggies. The bread that came on the side was so fresh, toasted buttered loaf.
For the menu, there were plenty of options for breakfast lunch and dinner, with a extensive coffee selection. Breakfast is even served until 3 and the plates looked delicious on our neighbours table.
Our server was attentive in a timely manner but wasn't hovering. The music had all the 90's hits which was a fun throwback. It was a bright restaurant with cozy/trendy decor. They even had a patio with heaters.
Go here! You'll be happy you did.
Soooooo good! This place is such a hidden gem. On our way back to Vancouver we managed to find this place while we were in search of brunch. This quaint, cozy and funky restaurant has delicious food. The pictures are NOT misleading! The atmosphere lovely and the service is okay. Highly recommend.
Before we headed back to Vancouver, we decided to grab brunch at Crabapple Cafe because no weekend trip is complete without stopping for brunch!. I got the usual ($10.50) which came with potato hash, a slice of toast, 2 eggs prepared your way and smoked salmon. It was actually supposed to come with ham or sauasage but I asked if I could substitute it and my waitress happily ablidged to my request
Pho. Wonderful light broth with cilantro, mint, fresh chillis, rice noodles and crisp veggies...
Great Food & Great Staff. Monday lunch and we sat and watched the restaurant fill up in an instant...from a few tables to max capacity. Sure people had to wait a little for service but the server, although she seemed a little stressed (and I don't blame her), kept it together and carried on. People kept coming in and we watched as they were turned away. Kudos to the owner for seeing that she couldn't handle anymore instead of making $$$$ a priority. Next thing we knew, the owner was up on the floor and then we watched as the guys in the kitchen helped clear the tables when the masses left!!!
Amazing teamwork and great food. We shall be back
Lunch at the crabapple. We stopped in for a quick bite driving to Vancouver from Whistler.
We liked the waitress. She was quick and polite.
My wife, the tea drinker, said the tea was excellent.
I had a cup of very reasonable brewed coffee.
We each had an all day breakfast feature. It was good and fast.
Though we both weren't fond of the deep fried potatoe nuggets with the breakfast meals. Grilled shredded potatoes or authentic pan fries would be much more appropriate.
The new owners are finding there way.
Apparently there are many new upgrades on the way.
We're told an espresso machine is coming and interior renovations are planned for some time this winter.
They appear to have turned the corner with some of the staff challenges we had heard from others who had stopped in previous to our visit.
We would definitely stop back again.
Stopped in for lunch, such a cozy, friendly spot. Fish and chips were delicious! Looking forward to trying something on the dinner menu, great mix of home cooking favs and healthy vegan dishes. Recommend a visit! Enjoy!
Great dinner!. Best homemade soup I've had in ages. Amazing mix of fresh ingredients and spices. All their soups are vegan which is a really nice feature. My veggie burger was amazing with a salad. Nice menu and a great atmosphere!
Stopped by here to grab a quick bite before the start of a hike. Excellent coffee drinks and the food also didn’t disappoint. Our breakfast bagel was hot, fresh, and packed with flavors from egg-bacon-cheese.
Ran into the owner, Adrian by chance today and, had to introduce myself. Especially because he was wearing a Sasquatch sweater. Hell yeah.
Ok - I’ve been coming here for years anytime I’m in Squamish. It’s my favorite spot.
I recommend getting the Black Bean Rice Bowl with dirty sour cream & a matcha latte made with oat milk.
A peanut butter bar or Zephyr cookie to go is also a pro-move.
Come here, you won’t be disappointed.
Healthy food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, will be back, definitely!
It’s a nice spot to have a meal or sip a cup of coffee ☕️🥗🥣when I travel from Vancouver to Whistler ,Pamberton, or Joffre Lake.
Frequented this place a few times and will always lock in one of their Zephyr Cookies anytime I have a hike on the cards, or looking for a healthy bite to eat. Only thing pulling it back on the 5 stars is the espresso coffee - just seems to vary depending on whose on the machine. But if you're not an espresso fiend, and rate the drip coffee life, then this may well be your spot!
There are so many cafés in Squamish and this one stands out as it gave me some old school vibes. Mismatched furniture, dated interior design, kind of matches the overall vibe in Squamish (nothing fancy, everyone’s chill).
I came here for breakfast and the line was short. I ordered a soup and a lavender latte, my husband ordered a chicken wrap. Everything tasted great but the wait for food was long, around 20 minutes or so.
The cutest thing was we were given an action figure after we placed our order. It’s used as a “placeholder” so, when the wait staff brings out our food, they would know which table to go to. Loved this idea! Very original and it made my day.
I always visit this cafe when I roll through Squamish! They have a large menu of healthy food and a funky setting. I always enjoy my meal and drink!
Jacquie and I really enjoy frequenting the Zephyr Cafe. Excellent coffees, in many varieties, healthy energy treats well suited for a long hike, climb or bike ride. Great quinoa bowls that will have you licking the bowl clean. The breakfast burrito is especially tasty, loaded with rice chickpeas, black beans, egg, spinach and cheese. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Sit outside and take in the view of Echo Falls and surrounding mountains. During cooler days the fireplace creates lots of heat and draws in those who enjoy a good book or one of the many card and board games. It can can become rather warm on occasion when it stays on a little too long but that's more reason to get active and breathe in the Squamish air. Very eclectic decor and a little quirky in a good way. We enjoy stopping there during our evening walks as it remains open later than most coffee shops. They also serve beer. Parking nearby. An excellent coffee shop that I highly recommend!
Cheers
Such a lovely little spot for locals and tourists to connect and socialize. Food is very tasty and the Baristas know what they're doing.
