Brought my wife here for dinner today and what a great experience we had!
We were greeted promptly at the door and were given a table right away. Jeff, our waiter was very polite and very knowledgeable about the menu. My wife can only eat gluten free and Jeff recommend their gluten free pizza crust as the best he had ever tried. And he was correct!! My wife was over the moon happy with their rice crust and really enjoyed her pizza.
I myself ordered the Veggie pizza on regular crust and it too was one of the best pizza's I have ever had.
Once you have wood fired pizza you won't go back to a regular pizza.
I highly recommend and we look forward to returning again!!
We enjoyed our dinner on the back patio, it was peaceful and relaxing with the moon shining down on the lake.
So many pizza topping ideas and large gluten free crusts compared to others we have had. GF burger bun was soft, fresh and very good. Fries were perfectly golden + crispy.
Staff is so friendly and service is fast. Very much worth a visit, even the wait to get in goes pretty fast. This is the fourth blue mountain restaurant we have tried and by far the absolute best!!
Ambaince: fairly interesting concept as everyone is dressed up as firemen. All of the decoer reflected the fire station theme. Great for families!
Food: onion rings- they came piping hot and were made with red onions. It was not bad.
Margherita Pizza: I was so excited about this. It was a thin crust pizza that tasted alright. In my opinion the sauce could have used more flavor.
Penna Arabiatta: this pasta is usually spicy and full of flavor and I was disappointed when it finally came and it just lacked in both. Nor was it spicy or had much flavor. I had to add the sauces on the table to make it to my liking.
Love spanakopizza and jimmy the greek. Also the pasta cheese ravioli was the best i had so far . Price was also good . Wait could be long but worth
Good place, especially for non-veggies and vegetarians - not so much for vegans. We started off with Sweet Potato Fries, followed up with Garden Party Pizza.
Sweet potato fries were amazing - one of the best I've had till date. Flavor was very close to the potato fries. Garden Party pizza was great. The crust was soft but just enough not to hang vertically when picked up. Toppings were great. For drinks, we just went for lemonade which was great.
Coming to the service, we encountered some issues there. Our drinks didn't arrive along with starters and we had to remind the gentleman. He was visibly upset when we asked him about vegan options. Not sure because of the rush at that time or because us being vegan annoyed him. While they write they can do substitutions to dairy free cheese, there were only two pizzas in the entire menu that can be made vegan. The reason the gentleman told was that many of the ingredients are pre-made. Even the milkshake is canned.
I'm giving 3.5, largely because of the flavors and overall quality of food. 1.5 stars taken away because of okay service and way too limited options for vegan food.
Gord and I had a late lunch this afternoon at Firehall Pizza Co.
I love love love pizza so since I was in a pizza restaurant, I ordered a Meat Head pizza. It was a good pizza and definitely lived up to it's name as it was meaty.
Gord ordered Fettuccine Jambalaya. He wasn't all that crazy about it since it there was a lot of thick tomato sauce ... I like tomato sauce and even for me it was too much. Gord didn't eat much of it. When Kristin asked how it was, we were honest and she took it off our bill. Thanks, Kirstin! There was lots of pizza so I share it with Gord (he liked it).
Kristin was friendly and took good care of us.
This place has amazing pizza. A bit disappointed with the salads; they're basically good for one person or maybe two depending on the type of salad.
Anyway, the annoying part was that there was a mandatory gratuity fee of 15% for groups of 8 or more.
We were 7 adults and 1 toddler. The waitress came by maybe 5 times the entire visit. My son drank water and barely had a slice of pizza. What I'm trying to say is we were a very low maintenance group and counting a toddler as an adult is completely unfair.
We dropped into the Firehall Pizza Co during our weekend getaway to Blue Mountain. The restaurant was busy but we didn't have to wait long. We sat at the bar and drank a cold beer while the game was on. After we were seated, we ordered a "Flash Gordon" which came with tomato sauce, cheese, chorizo sausage, red onion, and gorgonzola cheese. We both enjoyed the pizza ($16), the service, and the atmosphere.
Had a great late lunch. Beer was cold. Pizza and meatball sandwich was delish. Service was great! We sat on the patio and had a grand time!
Firehall Pizza IS open. I was just there! New menu, but same great staff, atmosphere and food! Risotto balls are heaven! Ask for Jeff! He is amazing!!
Pretty good... Stopped in for lunch and a couple beers over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend.
Place was pretty busy and people were bustling around everywhere.. Pizza was alright.. thin crust style.. a little chincy on the toppings for what you're paying but it is a resort...
Beer was cold and service was great.. All need be said!
Wouldn't go for dinner but for lunch, Firehall Pizza Co. is a great option. Will be back next time.
Blue Mountain is an awesome place to get away to if you feel like being somewhere where the snow is being celebrated, not just pushed off into another giant dirty pile. We picked up pizza for lunch one day from Firehall Pizza Co.
You've gotta check out this place visiting the Blue Mountain Resort.
Best service ever by our server whom was an amazing guy that offered ideas and drink selection recommendations and when not quite right did not hesitate to swap out.
The pizzas were sensational with quick to table times.
Atmosphere very pleasant and certainly looking forward to heading back in next time in the Village.
Clean washrooms and spacious environment.
When we last went to Blue Mountain Village, we discovered this place for casual dining. It was really great then it is still really great. Yes, the prices have gone up, and you might consider the pasta and pizza and other entries as a bit costly at this point. All well worth it, however. And if I counted correctly they have 20 beers on tap. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and it is in fact an old fire hall.
Hands down our favourite place that we ate at in the village! Great atmosphere with lovely staff! The place was packed with a 75min wait for a table so we ate at the bar which was plenty spacious with comfortable stools. The bartender was quick and the manager that brought out our food was funny and very friendly! My husband had the Meat Head pizza and really liked it, I had the classic Margherita pizza which was great and both of us were full and really enjoyed our meal.
Definitely gotta check this place out if you're in the area. Prices are fair, portion sizes are amazing and the food is absolutely delicious. Inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. 10/10
