Amazing, huge apple fritters made on-site! Super friendly staff. Small but well stocked campers grocery store. Make sure you also visit River Rocks Gifts for a great selection of souvenirs and iconic Hwy 17 logo apparel and gifts.

I have been coming here for several years and always enjoy my stay. The rooms are always clean and well equipped with everything we need to enjoy the North shore of Superior. The beach across the street is very peaceful and it’s a great jumping off point to some spectacular spots in Lake Superior Provincial Park. The gift shop has some really unique items that your family will love and their apple fritters are the best.

What a wonderful place with a great staff. We were almost late before closing but they checked in on us. My Bro and Sis Cathy planned this great trip and we ordered dinner with 9 minutes to spare. Great food and the rooms are beautifully “Up North” decorated which makes me feel like at home. We stopped in after an 800km motorcycle ride and everyone was so accommodating. To the best of my ability, I recommend these lodgings. And “Oh The Fritters”

We got here perfect timing in the morning. They greeted us with a smile at the pump, had the best and very fresh apple fritter (and it's Huge), and the washroom was clean. Definitely mark this as a gas/rest stop.

Best experience so far, cute hotel very good food extremely clean and very well maintained 👌beautiful little beach across the road awesome peoples. 👌

Not a dine in place anymore which makes me sad. We have always loved and bragged about the food here and a beautiful day spent to drive there for the view and a swim and best fish dinner. Though the ready to go food is good too. Lovely staff.

Stopped here for some fritters on our drive home and they were amazing. Delicious and HUGE, a must-stop along the highway. We met the owner Gale and she was super friendly!
