Lovely fresh sandwiches made with deliciously baked bread. I was especially thankful to the staff who created a little platter of veggies for my toddler.

I am very happy with my experience with Fresh a Fare. I had a wedding shower and John went above and beyond to make sure our sandwiches were fresh with a large variety made with an assortment of buns. Our cheese and fruit trays were very fresh with extra fruit given. Thanks John again, we appreciate the extra effort! Carla.
If you want fresh well... Everything then this is the place. I love everything I've tried. The people are awsome and are always fast and friendly. If your going at lunch and want soup I suggest you go really early, it gets really busy.
Two visits... LOVED IT. This place is AMAZING. I've visited twice, both times it was really busy and with only one girl working behind the counter.
She was absolutely calm and collected, was real quick, and my sandwich was amazing. Apparently they bake their own bread at another branch, and you can tell, I had a pastrami on some tuscan bread... the sandwich was not only HUGE, but was delicious and obviously very fresh.
The only thing I didn't care for was the soup I had the second time, but I can't remember for the life of me which it was.
The price is a steal for what you get, the who atmosphere really has a European feel like a Parisian walk in bistro, only you don't pay an arm and a leg for it.
An awesome alternative if you're tired of Subway.
Fresh-A-Fare is one of my favourite places to go for a wholesome healthy lunch. Their soups and sandwiches always taste fresh, and are made with care! Their service is also very quick and friendly. One menu item that you must absolutely try is their carrot cake which is definitely the best in the area. Have also had their food catered to work meetings and it arrives full of flavour and in large portions! Definitely a hidden gem in the City of Barrie that is worth checking out.
Just about the best salad I've ever had, this rivals 30$ salads at fine dining restaurants. Everything is so fresh and tasty, it's perfect. I wish there was one in Toronto where I live.
Absolutely stunning food and service. Top quality, fresh, delicious food plated with the utmost care. The staff truly enjoy their jobs, and it shows. Real smiles and real food.
When I have time for lunch, I only go to Fresh-A-Fare now.
Great salad place. Big Hearty salads and fresh interesting sandwiches. I recommend the roasted veggie.Good soups made from scratch. If you like dill try their dill salad dressing. Don't forget to ask for a side of pickles. Staff will split salad into 2 portions
one of my favourite places to eat. staff is super friendly, the carrot cake is phenomenal so make sure you get some. the bread is all very good and the soups are delicious. 10/10 would recommend
I love both locations. The service is always friendly and the food is delicious. I took away one star because there are no gluten free sandwich options unless you have the collard greens wrap and I hate collards:(
I know it’s about cross contamination, but one knife and one cutting board is all it would take. Just post a sign that says you are gf friendly, but that gluten is obviously used on site.
I would definitley recommend lunch here.
The smoked salmon is THE BEST!
